Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh penilaian produk blazer dengan box pleats monumental tekstil. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian pre-experimental design, one-shot case study. Penelitian ini menghasilkan 5 produk blazer dengan box pleats monumental tekstil yang mengacu pada teori produk, serta teori unsur dan prinsip desain. Penilaian diukur menggunakan skala rating scale. Hasil penilaian pada indikator teori produk dinilai sangat baik. Nilai tertinggi diperoleh pada aspek hasil yang maksimal, hal ini karena pemilihan material, kerapihan jahitan, detail dan finishing yang dinilai sangat baik. Nilai terendah terdapat pada aspek penampilan yang menarik, dikarenakan pemilihan style classic arty dapat ditinjau kembali, karena produk pada penelitian ini terlalu eksploratif untuk dikatakan klasik. Hasil penilaian berdasarkan teori unsur desain dinilai sangat baik. Aspek bentuk mendapatkan nilai tertinggi, produk telah mencapai bentuk berdasarkan dimensi, dan ukuran, dimana box pleats pada produk blazer memiliki bentuk 3 dimensi (3D). Aspek tekstur mendapat nilai terendah, dikarenakan tekstur box pleats pada beberapa blazer kurang tegas. Hasil penilaian indikator teori prinsip desain memperoleh hasil sangat baik. Aspek pusat perhatian mendapat nilai tertinggi, penerapan box pleats pada produk blazer dinilai sangat menonjol, dan menjadi fokus utama pada produk. Nilai terendah terdapat pada aspek irama, karena pemilihan irama dinilai kurang dinamis. Kata Kunci: Penilaian Produk, Blazer, Box Pleats Monumental Tekstil The purpose of this study was to obtain an assessment of blazer products with box pleats monumental textile. This research method uses descriptive quantitative research with a pre-experimental design, one-shot case study. This research produced 5 blazer products with monumental textile box pleats that refer to product theory, as well as the theory of design elements and principles. The assessment was measured using a rating scale. The results of the assessment on the product theory indicators were rated very well. The highest score was obtained in the aspect of maximum results, this was due to the selection of materials, neatness of stitches, details and finishing which were considered very good. The lowest score is in the aspect of attractive appearance, because the selection of classic arty style can be reviewed, because the product in this study is too explorative to be said to be classic. The assessment results based on the theory of design elements are considered very good. The shape aspect gets the highest score, the product has achieved a shape based on dimensions, and size, where the box pleats on the blazer product have a 3-dimensional (3D) shape. The texture aspect received the lowest score, because the texture of the box pleats on some blazers is less assertive. The assessment results of the design principle theory indicators obtained very good results. The center of attention aspect got the highest score, the application of box pleats on the blazer product was considered very prominent, and became the main focus of the product. The lowest score is in the rhythm aspect, because the selection of rhythm is considered less dynamic. Keywords: Product Assesment, Blazers, Box Pleats Monumental Textile
