Abstract

Berita dan informasi lebih mudah didapatkan dari media sosial, salah satunya adalah Instagram dengan beragam fitur – fitur yang disajikan. Instagram pun juga digunakan oleh seluruh masyarakat maupun organisasi, tak terkecuali Unit Pelaksana Teknis Layanan Bimbingan Konseling Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UPT-LBK UNJ) yang menggunakan Instagram sebagai media edukasi. Survey dilakukan untuk mengetahui fitur Instagram yang paling sering digunakan oleh Mahasiswa UNJ, hasilnya fitur reels Instagram. Maka dari itu perlu dilakukan analisis penggunaan konten reels Instagram UPT-LBK UNJ untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh dalam pemberian materi mengenai strawberry generation. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen yang membagi dua kelompok sampel menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Dari hasil penelitian dengan total 100 responden Mahasiswa UNJ dengan menggunakan uji t independent samples test yaitu terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh video reels Instagram UPT-LBK UNJ terhadap pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai strawberry generation dan mahasiswa puas dengan penggunaan video reels Instagram sebagai media edukasi. Reels Instagram memenuhi harapan dan kebutuhan mahasiswa UNJ dalam penyampaian materi edukasi pada Instagram UPT-LBK UNJ. ***** News and information are easily obtained from social media, one of which is Instagram with various features presented. Instagram is used by the entire community and organizations, including the Guidance and Counseling Technical Implementation Unit of Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UPT-LBK UNJ), which uses Instagram as an educational medium. A survey was conducted to determine the Instagram features most frequently used by UNJ students, and the result was the Instagram reels feature. Therefore, an analysis of the use of UPT-LBK UNJ's Instagram reels content is needed to determine if there is an influence on delivering material about the strawberry generation. This research used an experimental research method that divided the sample into two groups: the experimental group and the control group. The results of the study, involving a total of 100 UNJ student respondents using an independent samples t-test, showed a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group. It can be concluded that there is an influence of UPT-LBK UNJ's Instagram reels videos on students' understanding of the strawberry generation, and students are satisfied with the use of Instagram reels videos as an educational medium. Instagram reels meet the expectations and needs of UNJ students in delivering educational content on Instagram UPT-LBK UNJ.
