Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) Mengetahui pengaruh pengalaman praktik kerja lapangan (PKL) terhadap minat siswa dalam berkarir di bidang Teknik Pendingin dan Tata udara (TPTU); (2) Mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap minat siswa dalam berkarir di bidang TPTU; (3) Mengetahui pengaruh pengalaman PKL dan motivasi belajar terhadap minat siswa dalam berkarir di bidang TPTU. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan sampel yang berjumlah 41 siswa kelas XII SMK Negeri Jakarta bidang keahlian TPTU. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan pendeketan deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen berupa angket. Angket digunakan untuk pengumpulan data ketiga variabel, yaitu variabel pengalaman PKL, motivasi belajar, dan minat dalam berkarir di bidang TPTU. Pengujian prasyarat analisis menggunakan uji normalitas, uji linearitas, uji heteroskedastisitas, dan uji multikolinearitas. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Terdapat pengaruh negatif pengalaman PKL terhadap minat dalam berkarir di bidang TPTU dengan nilai signifikasi 0,022 (<0,05), nilai thitung > ttabel (2,396>2,023), dan dengan koefisien regresi - 0,362; (2) Terdapat pengaruh positif motivasi belajar terhadap minat dalam berkarir di bidang TPTU dengan nilai signifikansi 0,00 (<0,05), nilai thitung > ttabel (7,104>2,023), dan dengan koefisien regresi 1,661; (3) Terdapat pengaruh pengalaman PKL dan motivasi belajar terhadap minat dalam berkarir di bidang TPTU dengan nilai regresi Y = 8,460 – 0,362X1 + 1,661X2, dan nilai Fhitung>Ftabel (25,33>3,23). Kata kunci: Minat berkarir, motivasi, pengalaman, pengaruh. ***** The objectives of this study are to: (1) Determine the influence of fieldwork practice experience (PKL) on students' interest in a career in the field of Cooling and Air Conditioning Engineering (TPTU); (2) Knowing the influence of learning motivation on students' interest in a career in the TPTU field; (3) Knowing the influence of PKL experience and learning motivation on students' interest in a career in the TPTU field. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with a sample of 41 class XII students of SMK Negeri Jakarta in the field of TPTU expertise. This research is a research with a quantitative descriptive approach. Data collection using instruments in the form of questionnaires. The questionnaire was used to collect data on three variables, namely the variables of street vendor experience, learning motivation, and interest in a career in the TPTU field. Analysis prerequisite testing uses normality test, linearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and multicollinearity test. Hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression. The results showed: (1) There was a negative influence of PKL experience on interest in a career in the TPTU field with a significance value of 0.022 (<0.05),a calculated t value > ttable (2.396>2.023), and with a regression coefficient - 0.362; (2) There is a positive influence of learning motivation on interest in a career in the TPTU field with a significance value of 0.00 (<0.05),a calculated t value of >t table (7.104>2.023), and with a regression coefficient of 1.661; (3) There is an influence of PKL experience and learning motivation on interest in a career in the TPTU field with a regression value of Y = 8.460 – 0.362X1 + 1.661X2, and a Ftable > Fvalue (25.33>3.23).
