Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Taman Bacaan Masyarakat Warabal Sebagai Bentuk Kewirausahaan Sosial, dalam penelitian ini masalah yang diangkat adalah adanya TBM Warabal yang menjadi sebuah inovasi sosial dalam bentuk kewirausahaan sosial yang berfokus pada pemberdayaan masyarakat baik anak-anak dalam bidang pendidikan maupun ibu-ibu pada kelompok sosial. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode studi kasus. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara lokasi penelitian, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 7 informan dengan lokasi penelitian di Warung Baca Lebak Wangi, Kampung Lebak Wangi Desa Pamegarsari Kecamatan Parung Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat. Waktu Penelitian dimulai dari bulan Juni 2022. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (TBM) Warung Baca Anak Lebak Wangi “Warabal” sebagai sebuah Kewirausahaan Sosial yang dibentuk dalam lingkungan masyarakat sebagai ruang untuk pendidikan anak dari usia dini hingga remaja. Kegiatan di dalam TBM Warabal dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Desa Pamegarsari, selain itu dengan adanya pemberdayaan ibu-ibu juga dimaksudkan untuk memberikan mereka ruang dalam memperhatikan dan mempersiapkan kebutuhan pendidikan anak yang meliputi biaya pendidikan. TBM Warabal sebagai inovasi sosial menunjukkan kegiatan pendidikan yang aktif mulai dari PAUD, Pendar (Pendamping Belajar), hingga TPQ yang rutin dilaksanakan. Ide atau gagasan dalam membentuk TBM Warabal ini datang dari pendiri nya yaitu Ibu Kiswanti yang dibantu dengan stakeholder untuk menciptakan pendidikan informal di tengah masyarakat. Hal yang dilakukan oleh ibu Kiswanti juga melalui jaringan sosial yang ia bangun mulai dari sosialisasi hingga menunjukkan kualitas TBM Warabal yang baik untuk mendapat dukungan lebih banyak dari stakeholder. Jejaring sosial tersebut juga menjadi sebuah modal sosial yang mendukung inovasi sosial pada TBM Warabal sehingga tercipta sebuah kewirausahaan sosial. Kata kunci: Taman Bacaan, Kewirausahaan Sosial, TBM Warabal *** This research aims to describe the Warabal Community Reading Garden as a Form of Social Entrepreneurship, in this research the problem raised is the existence of Warabal TBM which is a social innovation in the form of social entrepreneurship which focuses on empowering the community, both children in the field of education and mothers in the field of education. social group. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach, with a case study method. Research data was obtained through observation, research location interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this research were 7 informants with the research location at Warung Baca Lebak Wangi, Kampung Lebak Wangi, Pamegarsari Village, Parung District, Bogor Regency, West Java. Research time starts from June 2022. The research results obtained from this research show that the Warung Baca Anak Lebak Wangi "Warabal" Community Reading Park (TBM) is a Social Entrepreneurship that was formed within the community as a space for children's education from an early age to adolescence. Activities in TBM Warabal are carried out to improve the quality of education in Pamegarsari Village, apart from that, by empowering mothers it is also intended to give them space to pay attention to and prepare for their children's educational needs which includes education costs. TBM Warabal as a social innovation shows active educational activities ranging from PAUD, Pendar (Learning Assistant), to TPQ which are routinely carried out. The idea for forming TBM Warabal came from its founder, Mrs. Kiswanti, who was assisted by stakeholders to create informal education in the community. What Mrs. Kiswanti also did was through the social network she built, starting from outreach to showing the good quality of TBM Warabal to get more support from stakeholders. This social network also becomes a social capital that supports social innovation at TBM Warabal so as to create social entrepreneurship.
