Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan dan mengetahui kelayakan suatu produk berupa ensiklopedia IPA materi bagian tubuh tumbuhan dan fungsinya berbasis pendekatan kontekstual. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan atau research and development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Responden dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari ahli media, ahli materi, ahli bahasa dan peserta didik kelas IV sekolah dasar. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan kuesioner. Hasil uji coba media ensiklopedia kepada para ahli memperoleh nilai 97,3% dari ahli media, 86% dari ahli materi dan 84% dari ahli bahasa. Hasil rata-rata dari ahli memperoleh skor 89,1%. Sedangkan hasil uji coba kepada peserta didik secara one to one memperoleh nilai 98,6% secara small group memperoleh nilai 97,3% dan secara field test memperoleh nilai 98,2%. Hasil rata-rata dari peserta didik memperoleh skor 98%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ensiklopedia IPA materi bagian tubuh tumbuhan dan fungsinya berbasis pendekatan kontekstual memperoleh nilai sangat layak dengan rentang skor 75% - 100% sehingga layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Bab 1 “Tumbuhan Sumber Kehidupan di Bumi” Kelas IV sekolah dasar. ***** The study aims to produce and determine the feasibility of a product in the form of a science encyclopedia of plant body parts and their functions based on a contextual approach. The method used in this research is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Respondents in this study consisted of media experts, material experts, linguists and grade IV elementary school students. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and questionnaires. The results of the encyclopedia media trial to experts obtained a score of 97.3% from media experts, 86% from material experts and 84% from linguists. The average result from the expert obtained a score of 89.1%. While the results of the trial to students in one to one obtained a score of 98.6% in small groups obtained a score of 97.3% and in the field test obtained a score of 98.2%. The average result from students obtained a score of 98%. This shows that the science encyclopedia of the material of plant body parts and their functions based on a contextual approach gets a very good score (SB) with a score range of 75% - 100% so it is feasible to use as a learning medium in learning Natural Sciences Chapter 1 "Plants Sources of Life on Earth" Class IV elementary school.
