Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan intervensi karier untuk mengatasi kesulitan pengambilan keputusan karier. Penelitian dilakukan pada siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam pengambilan keputusan karier di SMK X. Responden terdiri dari 15 siswa kelompok eksperimen dan 15 siswa pada kelompok kontrol yang memiliki skor tinggi pada kategori disfunctional beliefs. Intervensi yang digunakan adalah teknik love metaphor 1, nine lives exercise dan love metaphor 2. Penelitian menggunakan metode eskperimen dengan desain quasi experiment designs jenis nonequivalent control group design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan Career Decision-Making Difficulties Questionnaire yang dikembangkan oleh Itamar Gati, Mina Krausz dan Samuel H. Osipow dengan jumlah 34 item. Analisis statistik menggunakan teknik Mann-Whitnney U-test untuk melihat perbedaan skor post-test pada kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasilnya diperoleh Asymp. Sig sebesar 0.000 yang artinya nilai probabilitasnya lebih kecil dari nilai signifikansi α 0.05. Hal ini berarti hipotesis nol ( H_0 ) ditolak dan H_1 diterima. Maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh intervensi karier untuk mengatasi kesulitan dalam pengambilan keputusan karier pada peserta didik di SMK X Jakarta. ***** The aim of the research is to determine the effect of using career interventions to overcome career decision making difficulties. The research was conducted on students who experienced difficulties in making career decisions at SMK X. Respondents consisted of 15 students in the experimental group and 15 students in the control group who had high scores in the dysfunctional beliefs category. The interventions used were the love metaphor 1, nine lives exercise and love metaphor 2 techniques. The research used an experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design, a quasi-experimental design. Data collection was carried out using the Career Decision-Making Difficulties Questionnaire developed by Itamar Gati, Mina Krausz and Samuel H. Osipow with 34 items. Statistical analysis uses the Mann-Whitney U-test technique to see the differences in post-test scores in the experimental and control groupswith the help of SPSS. The results obtained by Asymp. Sig is 0.000, which means the probability value is smaller than the significance value α 0.05. This means that the null hypothesis ( ) is rejected and accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of career intervention to overcome difficulties in making career decisions among students at SMK X Jakarta.H_0 H_1
