Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar PPKn melalui model pembelajaran culturally responsive teaching pada siswa kelas III SDN Bendungan Hilir 05. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan di SDN Bendungan Hilir 05. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III-A yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Model penelitian tindakan kelas yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart dengan tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Pada siklus I, perolehan tes hasil belajar PPKn memperoleh persentase sebesar 62,06% sehingga perlu dilakukan tindakan ke siklus berikutnya. Pada siklus II, perolehan tes hasil belajar PPKn mengalami peningkatan menjadi sebesar 86,67% sehingga sudah mencapai kriteria keberhasilan yang ditetapkan. Hasil pemantau tindakan aktivitas guru pada siklus I memperoleh persentase sebesar 74% dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi sebesar 89%. Hasil pemantau tindakan aktivitas siswa pada siklus I memperoleh persentase sebesar 62% dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi sebesar 87%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran culturally responsive teaching dalam pembelajaran PPKn dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar PPKn pada siswa kelas III SDN Bendungan Hilir 05 sehingga guru dapat menggunakan culturally responsive teaching sebagai salah satu alternatif model pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar PPKn. ***** This classroom action research aims to improve PPKn learning outcomes through a culturally responsive teaching learning model for grade III students of SDN Bendungan Hilir 05. This class action research was carried out at SDN Bendungan Hilir 05. The subjects of this study were class III-A students totaling 32 students. The class action research model used in this study is the Kemmis and Mc.Taggart model with stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. In cycle I, the acquisition of the PPKn learning outcomes test obtained a percentage of 62.06% so action needs to be taken to the next cycle. In the second cycle, the acquisition of the PPKn learning outcomes test increased to 86.67% so that it had reached the established success criteria. The results of monitoring teacher activity actions in the first cycle obtained a percentage of 74% and increased in the second cycle to 89%. The results of monitoring student activity actions in cycle I obtained a percentage of 62% and increased in cycle II to 87%. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the culturally responsive teaching learning model in PPKn learning can improve PPKn learning outcomes in grade III students of SDN Bendungan Hilir 05 so that teachers can use culturally responsive teaching as an alternative learning model to improve PPKn learning outcomes.
