Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat model pendidikan karakter melalui olahraga tradisional pada siswa Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode ADDIE, yaitu dengan model pendidikan karakter melalui olahraga tradisional dengan 5 (Lima) tahapan, yaitu 1.) Analisis (Analyze), 2.) Desain (Design), 3.) Pengembangan (Development), 4.) Pelaksanaan (Implementation), 5.) Evaluasi (Evaluation). Penelitian dilakukan di SDN Pisangan Baru 13 Pagi, Jakarta Timur, DKI Jakarta. Subyek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas 5 yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan telah tersusunnya enam olahraga tradisional yaitu terompah panjang, egrang, lari balok, gatrik (patok lele), hadang, dan bentengan. Unsur model pendidikan karakter melalui olahraga tradisional berisi: nama permainan, gambar, tujuan, alat, dan cara bermain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat nilai karakter di dalam olahraga tradisional yaitu religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, bersahabat / komunikatif, cinta damai, peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab. Nilai tersebut menjadi dasar bagi siswa Sekolah Dasar untuk menjalankan aktivitas pada tahap usia berikutnya. Kata Kunci : Model Pendidikan Karakter, Olahraga Tradisional, Siswa Sekolah Dasar ***The research aims to create a model of character education through traditional sports in elementary school students. The research method used in this study is the ADDIE method, i.e. with a model of character education through traditional sports with 5 (Five) stages, namely 1.) Analysis (Analyze), 2.) Design (Design), 3.) Development (Development), 4.) Implementation, 5. Evaluation (Evaluation). The research was carried out at SDN Pisangan Baru at 13 a.m, East Jakarta, DKI Jakarta. The subject of the study was a fifth grade student of 30 students. The results of the research show that there are six traditional sports: long-running, egrang, balcony running, gatric, hatch, and fortress. Elements of the character education model through traditional sports contain: the name of the game, the picture, the purpose, the tools, and the way of playing. Research results show that there are character values in traditional sports that are religious, honest, tolerant, disciplined, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, friendly/communicative, peaceful love, social care, and responsibility. These values form the basis for elementary school students to undertake activities at the next age stage.
