Abstract

Penelitian eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, and Intellectual) terhadap kemampuan geometri peserta didik kelas VI sekolah dasar negeri Kecamatan Duren Sawit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksperimen, dengan desain penelitian Pretest-Posttest Two Group Control Design. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VI SDN Pondok Bambu 02, Jakarta Timur yang berjumlah 62 peserta didik. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Pengumpulan data dilaku-kan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes berupa soal uraian sebanyak 10 soal, dengan rubrik skor rentang 0 – 4 pada setiap soal. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (uji-t). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran SAVI terhadap kemampuan geometri pada peserta didik kelas VI. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil uji hipotesis, dengan diperoleh hasil thitung (3,549) > ttabel (1,670). Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dalam penggunaan model pembelajaran SAVI terhadap kemampuan geometri peserta didik. Dengan memanfaatkan elemen-elemen somatik, auditori, visual, dan intelektual, pembelajaran geometri khususnya bangun ruang menjadi lebih menarik dan dapat mencakup berbagai gaya belajar peserta didik. ***** This experimental research aims to determine the effect of the SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, and Intellectual) model on the geometric abilities of class VI students at public elementary schools in Duren Sawit District. This research uses a quantitative experimental method, with a Pretest-Posttest Two Group Control Design research design. The sample in this research was class VI students at SDN Pondok Bambu 02, East Jakarta, totaling 62 students. Samples were taken using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using a test instrument in the form of 10 essay questions, with a score rubric ranging from 0 – 4 for each question. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential statistics (t-test). The results of the research show that there is an influence of using the SAVI learning model on the geometry abilities of class VI students. This is proven by the results of the hypothesis test, with the results obtained tcount (3,549) > ttable (1,670). Based on the results of the hypothesis test, H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence in using the SAVI learning model on students' geometric abilities. By utilizing somatic, auditory, visual and intellectual elements, learning geometry, especially geometric shapes, becomes more interesting and can cover various student learning styles.
