Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Gambaran Kesepian pada Mahasiswa FIP UNJ. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 100 Mahasiswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Convenience sampling atau accidental sampling. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa FIP UNJ angkatan 2021 dan angkatan 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan adaptasi instrumen kesepian Ucla yang dikembangkan oleh Russel. Instrumen kesepian memiliki 20 item dan hasil uji validitas menunjukkan semua butir pernyataan valid. Pada instrumen kesepian ini memiliki indeks reliabilitas instrumen sebesar 0,991 berada pada kategori sangat kuat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran kesepian pada mahasiswa FIP UNJ tertinggi ada pada jenis kelamin mahasiswa laki-laki yang memperoleh skor rata-rata sedikit lebih tinggi daripada mahasiswa perempuan. Hasil Data berdasarkan tahun angkatan diketahui 2021 lebih tinggi daripada angkatan 2022. Variabel kesepian memiliki tiga aspek yaitu aspek keinginan sosial artinya individu yang mengalami kesepian karena adanya keinginan sosial yang tidak seseuai dengan dirinya yang memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 23 yang membuat aspek ini menjadi aspek tertinggi, kemudian aspek depresi artinya individu yang mengalami kesepian karena adanya tekanan dari dalam diri yang membuat perasaan ketidakberdayaan yang memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 13, dan yang terakhir ada aspek kepribadian artinya individu yang mengalami kesepian karena adanya pola pikir dan perilaku berdasarkan dari kepribadian individu sendiri yang memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 6 yang membuat aspek ini menjadi aspek terendah. ***** This study aims to determine the description of loneliness in FIP UNJ students. This research uses quantitative descriptive methods. The subjects in this study amounted to 100 students. Sampling using Convenience sampling technique or accidental sampling. The research subjects were FIP UNJ students class of 2021 and class of 2022. This study uses an adaptation of the Ucla loneliness instrument developed by Russel. The loneliness instrument has 20 items and the validity test results show that all statement items are valid. This loneliness instrument has an instrument reliability index of 0.991 in the very strong category. The results showed that the picture of loneliness in FIP UNJ students was highest in the gender of male students who obtained an average score slightly higher than female students. Data results based on class year are known to be 2021 higher than class 2022. The loneliness variable has three aspects, namely the social desire aspect, which means that individuals experience loneliness because of social desires that are not in accordance with themselves, which obtained an average score of 23 which made this aspect the highest aspect, then the depression aspect, which means that individuals experience loneliness because of internal pressure that creates a feeling of helplessness, which obtained an average score of 13, and finally there is a personality aspect, which means that individuals who experience loneliness due to mindsets and behaviors based on their own individual personalities get an average score of 6, which makes this aspect the lowest aspect.
