Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa melalui penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation pada siswa kelas V-A SDN Srengseng Sawah 11 Jakarta Selatan dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 32 siswa. Penelitian dilakukan dalam rentang waktu Juni-November 2023 pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang mengadaptasi model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart yang dilakukan dalam tiga siklus dimana setiap siklus terdiri dari atas tiga tahap yaitu perencanaan, tindakan dan pengamatan serta refleksi. Kepercayaan diri siswa yang diharapkan harus mencapai kriteria keberhasilan sebesar ≥36 dengan target ketuntasan sebesar 80% dari jumlah seluruh siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan peningkatan kepercayaan diri siswa setelah diterapkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation pada muatan pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) yang ditandai dengan kepercayaan diri siswa pada III siklus. Kepercayaan diri siswa pada siklus I meraih persentase sebesar 62,5%. Pada siklus II meningkat menjadi sebesar 84,375%. Pada siklus III kembali meningkat menjadi sebesar 90,625%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan jika pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation diterapkan, maka dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa. ***** This research aims to increase students' self-confidence through the application of group investigation type cooperative learning in class V-A SDN Srengseng Sawah 11 South Jakarta with total 32 students. The research was conducted in the period June-November 2023 in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The research method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which adapts the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model which is carried out in three cycles where each cycle consists of three stages, namely planning, action and observation and reflection. The expected student self-confidence must reach the success criteria of ≥36 with a completion target of 80% of the total number of students. The results of the research showed that an increase in students' self-confidence was found after implementing group investigation type cooperative learning in Natural Sciences (IPA) lesson content which was characterized by students' self-confidence in cycle III. Student self-confidence in cycle I reached a percentage of 62.5%. In cycle II it increased to 84.375%. In cycle III it increased again to 90.625%. Thus, it can be concluded that if group investigation type cooperative learning is implemented, it can increase students' self-confidence.
