Abstract

Penurunan kualitas lingkungan yang semakin meningkat menuntut setiap individu memiliki literasi lingkungan agar dapat memahami kondisi lingkungan serta membangun kepedulian lingkungan. Penguasaan konsep ekosistem diperlukan dalam memahami hubungan makhluk hidup dengan lingkungan dan peran manusia dalam ekosistem. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara penguasaan konsep ekosistem dengan literasi lingkungan peserta didik SMA. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 6 Bogor pada bulan April – Mei tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif-kuantitatif dengan studi korelasional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 129 peserta didik kelas XI MIPA yang ditentukan dengan teknik multi-stage sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen berupa tes dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan linear antara penguasaan konsep ekosistem dengan literasi lingkungan dengan kekuatan hubungan yang cukup (moderat). Kontribusi penguasaan konsep ekosistem terhadap literasi lingkungan peserta didik SMA pada penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 29,5%. Tindak lanjut diperlukan untuk memfasilitasi penguasaan konsep ekosistem peserta didik untuk meningkatkan literasi lingkungan. Mastery of the ecosystem concept is needed in understanding the relationship between living things and the environment and the role of humans in the ecosystem. This study aims to analyze the correlation between mastery of ecosystem concepts and environmental literacy of high school students. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 6 Bogor in April - May of the 2022/2023 school year. The research method used was descriptive-quantitative with a correlational study. The sample in this study were 129 students of class XI MIPA who were determined by multi-stage sampling technique. Data collection used instruments in the form of tests and questionnaires. The results showed a positive and linear correlation between mastery of ecosystem concepts and environmental literacy with moderate correlation strength. The contribution of mastery of ecosystem concepts to the environmental literacy of high school students in this study was 29.5%. Follow-up is needed to facilitate students' mastery of ecosystem concepts to improve environmental literacy.
