Abstract

ABSTRAK - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui motivasi belajar peserta didik melalui penggunaan model cooperative learning tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dengan pendekatan structured inquiry pada materi laju reaksi. Subjek penelitian sejumlah 38 peserta didik kelas XI Kimia 1 SMA Negeri 50 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan data penelitian diperoleh dari kuesioner motivasi belajar model motivasi ARCS (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction) adaptasi dari Course Interest Survey oleh John M. Keller, wawancara, reflective journal, catatan peneliti dan observasi. Motivasi belajar peserta didik diindikatorkan menjadi empat yaitu Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar peserta didik berkembang baik dengan empat indikator motivasi belajar memiliki peningkatan dari motivasi belajar awal dikarenakan penggunaan model cooperative learning tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dengan pendekatan structured inquiry yang dilihat pada empat indikator motivasi belajar yaitu (1) Peserta didik menunjukkan antusias dan lebih tertarik untuk mengikuti pembelajaran (Attention), (2) Peserta didik mampu menemukan peran penting laju reaksi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari (Relevance), (3) Peserta didik memiliki rasa percaya diri dalam pembelajaran dan hasil pembelajaran (Confidence), (4) Peserta didik merasa puas terhadap pembelajaran (Satisfaction). Kata Kunci: Motivasi ARCS, Teams Games Tournament, Structured Inquiry, Laju Reaksi. ABSTRACT - This research aims to determine students' learning motivation using a Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model with a structured inquiry approach to reaction rate material. The research subjects were 38 students of class XI Chemistry 1 SMA Negeri 50 Jakarta. This research uses qualitative methods with data from the ARCS (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction) learning motivation questionnaire adapted from the Course Interest Survey by John M. Keller, interviews, reflective journals, researcher notes, and observations. Students' learning motivation is divided into four, namely Attention, Relevance, Confidence, and Satisfaction. The results of the research show that students' learning motivation is developing well with four indicators of learning motivation having increased from initial learning motivation due to the use of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model with a structured inquiry approach which is seen in the four indicators of learning motivation, namely (1) Students show enthusiasm and are more interested in participating in learning (Attention), (2) Students can discover the important role of reaction rate in everyday life (Relevance), (3) Students have self-confidence in learning and learning outcomes (Confidence), (4) Students feel satisfied with learning (Satisfaction).
