Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media monopoli berbasis pendekatan SETS pada muatan IPA yang layak dan efektif dalam melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas IV SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ASSURE. Objek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV di SDN Gondangdia 01 PG, Jakarta Pusat.. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah statistik deskripitf dan Uji N-Gain. Berdasarkan hasil uji kelayakan, media monopoli mendapatkan rata-rata persentase 95,20% dari ahli materi, 84,20% dari ahli bahasa, dan 92,80% dari ahli media. Pada tahap uji coba dengan peserta didik, media mendapatkan rata-rata persentase sebesar 81,00% dari tahap One to One, 82,25% dari tahap Small Group, dan 87,10% dari tahap Field Test. Pada uji efektifitas dengan uji N-Gain didapatkan skor 0,53. Skor tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media monopoli berbasis pendekatan SETS pada muatan IPA berkategori efektif dalam melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas IV SD. ***** This research aims to develop monopoly media based on the SETS approach with science content that is feasible and effective in training the critical thinking skills of fourth grade elementary school students. The research method used in this research is the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ASSURE model. The object of this research is class IV students at SDN Gondangdia 01 PG, Central Jakarta. The data analysis techniques used in this research are descriptive statistics and the N-Gain Test. Based on the results of the feasibility test, monopoly media received an average percentage of 95.20% from material experts, 84.20% from language experts, and 92.80% from media experts. At the user trial stage with students, the media obtained 81.00% from the One to One stage, 82.25% from the Small Group stage, and 87.10% from the Field Test stage. In the effectiveness test using the N-Gain test, a score of 0.53 was obtained. This score shows that monopoly media based on the SETS approach with science content is categorized as effective in training the critical thinking skills of fourth grade elementary school students.
