Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray (TS-TS) dengan metode Mind Mapping terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi koloid. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMAN 17 Bekasi pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen. Metode eksperimen yang digunakan tersebut adalah quasi experimental design. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling. Populasi penelitian adalah kelas XI MIPA 1, XI MIPA 2, dan XI MIPA 3. Sampel diambil dari populasi tersebut yaitu kelas XI MIPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas XI MIPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray (TS-TS) dengan metode Mind Mapping diterapkan pada kelas eksperimen. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil belajar yang diukur menggunakan instrumen tes akhir (post-test) setelah proses pembelajaran selesai dilaksanakan. Perhitungan uji hipotesis (uji-t) memperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 4,51 > 2,00 dan perhitungan uji effect size memperoleh hasil sebesar 1,08. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dan uji effect size tersebut, kesimpulan yang didapatkan yaitu terdapat pengaruh lebih baik dari penerapan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray (TS-TS) dengan metode Mind Mapping terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi koloid. ********* This research was aimed to analyze the effect of Two Stay Two Stray (TS-TS) learning model with Mind Mapping method towards students’ learning outcomes on colloid material. The research was conducted at SMAN 17 Bekasi in the 2022/2023 academic year using experimental quantitative research method (quasi experimental design) and purposive sampling technique. Samples were taken from the population which included XI MIPA 1, XI MIPA 2, and XI MIPA 3, with XI MIPA 1 class as the control class and XI MIPA 3 as the experimental class. The Two Stay Two Stray (TS-TS) learning model with Mind Mapping method was applied to the experimental class. The research data were obtained from learning outcomes measured using the final test instrument (post-test) after the learning process was completed. The calculation of the hypothesis test (t-test) was obtained as tcount (4,51) > ttable (2,00) and calculation of the effect size was obtained as 1,08. Based on the results of these tests, the conclusion obtained is that there was a better effect on the application of the Two Stay Two Stray (TS-TS) learning model with the Mind Mapping method towards students’ learning outcomes on colloid material.
