Abstract

Dampak dari penurunan jumlah penumpang yang dirasakan pengemudi Bluebird adalah penurunan pendapatan, sehingga membuat para pengemudi harus memiliki strategi nafkah di tengah digitalisasi transportasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mendeskripsikan dinamika perubahan profesi pengemudi dalam 10 tahun terakhir dan (2) Mendeskripsikan bentuk strategi nafkah pengemudi di tengah digitalisasi transportasi di Pool Garuda Jakarta Pusat. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Bluebird cabang Pool Garuda berlokasi di Jalan. Garuda No.88, RW.8, Kemayoran, Kec. Kemayoran, Kota Jakarta Pusat, Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta pada pada bulan Maret - Juli 2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara pada 5 pengemudi Bluebird yang terpilih serta dilanjutkan dengan studi literatur. Teknik analisisis data yang dilakukan dimulai dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil temuan analisis menunjukkan bahwa para pengemudi Bluebird selalu memikirkan rencana jangka panjang untuk terus berfokus pada pelayanan terbaik, adaptasi teknologi, serta memberikan kontribusi positif bagi perusahaan dan masyarakat. Dalam era digitalisasi transportasi, keberhasilan mereka dalam menggabungkan kemampuan manusia dan teknologi membuktikan bahwa dengan pendekatan yang tepat, para pengemudi tetap dapat meraih kesuksesan di tengah digitalisasi dan perubahan industri yang cepat. Dengan demikian, para pengemudi Bluebird di Pool Garuda Jakarta Pusat telah menggunakan dan memanfaatkan bentuk strategi nafkah Frank Ellis di temgah digitalisasi transportasi yaitu, dengan pengetahuan, keterampilan, pendidikan, pendapatan ekonomi, lingkungan keluarga, hubungan dengan orang sekitar, usaha meningkatkan kinerja, pelestarian budaya 5S (senyum, salam, sapa, sopan, santun), kendaraan, perlengkapan peralatan, bengkel yang dimanfaatkan pengemudi, kepemilikan SIM, tempat tinggal sementara, kepemilikan sawah, hewan ternak, pinjaman, investasi, asuransi, tabungan, beasiswa, dan bantuan dari pasangan. Kata Kunci: Pengemudi, Digitalisasi Transportasi, Strategi Nafkah.   ***** The impact of the decline in the number of passengers felt by Bluebird drivers is a decrease in income, thus making drivers have to have a livelihood strategy in the midst of transportation digitalization. This study aims to (1) Describe the dynamics of changes in the driver's profession in the last 10 years and (2) Describe the form of driver's livelihood strategies in the midst of transportation digitalization in the Garuda Pool, Central Jakarta. This research was conducted at Bluebird Garuda Pool branch located on Jalan. Garuda No.88, RW.8, Kemayoran, Kec. Kemayoran, Central Jakarta City, Special Capital Region of Jakarta in March - July 2023. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation and interviews with 5 selected Bluebird drivers and continued with literature studies. The data analysis technique starts from data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. The findings of the analysis show that Bluebird drivers always think about long-term plans to continue to focus on the best service, adapt technology, and make a positive contribution to the company and society. In the era of transportation digitization, their success in combining human and technological capabilities proves that with the right approach, drivers can still achieve success in the midst of digitization and rapid industry change. Thus, Bluebird drivers at the Garuda Pool in Central Jakarta have used and utilized Frank Ellis' form of livelihood strategy in the midst of transportation digitalization, namely, with knowledge, skills, education, economic income, family environment, relationships with surrounding people, efforts to improve performance, preservation of 5S culture (smile, greeting, greeting, polite, polite), vehicles, equipment, workshops used by drivers, ownership of SIM, temporary residence, ownership of rice fields, livestock, loans, investment, insurance, savings, scholarships, and assistance from spouses.
