Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh sikap mengenai perundungan terhadap respons defender bystander yang dimediasi oleh empati pada siswa SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan kuesioner. Alat ukur yang digunakan yakni Student Bystander Behaviour Scale, Attitudes Towards Bullying dan Basic Empathy Scale. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yakni siswa SMA. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik convenience sampling, jumlah sampel sebanyak 101 siswa yang teridentifikasi sebagai defender bystander. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi mediasi dengan uji process. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima, yakni terdapat pengaruh mediasi empati antara sikap negatif mengenai perundungan terhadap respons defender bystander dengan hasil effect sebesar 0,197 dan nilai boostrap LLCI 0,0289 serta nilai boostrap ULCI 0,3975 sehingga bernilai signifikan. This study aims to determine the effect of attitudes about bullying on bystander defender responses mediated by empathy in high school students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a questionnaire. The measuring instruments used are Student Bystander Behavior Scale, Attitudes Towards Bullying and Basic Empathy Scale. The population in this study were high school students. Sampling was conducted using convenience sampling technique, the sample size was 101 students who were identified as bystander defenders. This study uses mediation regression analysis with process test. The results showed that the hypothesis in this study was accepted, namely that there is a mediating influence of empathy between negative attitudes about bullying on bystander defender responses with an effect of 0.197 and an LLCI boostrap value of 0,0289 and an ULCI boostrap value of 0,3975 so that it is significant.
