Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran deskriptif perilaku agresi pada mahasiswa. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 106 partisipan yang diperoleh menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Metode pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan alat ukur The Aggression Questionnaire oleh Buss dan Perry (1992). Teknis analisis statistik yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian ini adalah uji analisis deskriptif menggunakan IBM SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa memiliki kecenderungan perilaku agresi yang berada pada kategori sedang pada empat dimensi yaitu agresi fisik, agresi verbal, kemarahan, dan permusuhan berdasarkan jenis kelamin (laki-laki dan perempuan) maupun usia (18-24 tahun). ***** This study aims to determine a descriptive picture of aggression behavior in university students. The sample in this study consisted of 106 participants who were obtained using accidental sampling technique. The data collection method was obtained using the measuring instrument The Aggression Questionnaire by Buss and Perry (1992). The statistical analysis technique used to test this research hypothesis is a descriptive analysis test using IBM SPSS version 26. The results of this study show that students have a tendency for aggression behavior which is in the moderate category on four dimensions, namely physical aggression, verbal aggression, anger and hostility based on gender (male and female) and age (18-24 years old).
