Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran persepsi tentang keterlibatan ayah pada remaja akhir. Kriteria responden pada penelitian ini adalah remaja akhir yang berusia 18-21 tahun. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode Sampling Insidental menggunakan dua instrumen yaitu Nurturant Father Scale (NFS) dan Reported Father Involvement Scale (FIS) milik Finley & Schwartz (2004) yang telah diadaptasi ke dalam bahasa Indonesia oleh Nathania (2017). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor remaja akhir yang merasa ayah terlibat dalam pengasuhan dan yang merasa ayah tidak terlibat dalam pengasuhan memiliki skor yang tidak jauh berbeda. Namun, mayoritas remaja akhir yang merasa ayah terlibat dalam pengasuhan. ***** This study aims to determine the perception of father involvement in late adolescents. The criteria for respondents in this study were late adolescents aged 18-21 years. Data were collected using the Incidental Sampling method using two instruments, namely the Nurturant Father Scale (NFS) and the Reported Father Involvement Scale (FIS) of Finley & Schwartz (2004) which has been adapted into Indonesian by Nathania (2017). The results showed that the scores of late adolescents who felt their fathers were involved in parenting and those who felt their fathers were not involved in parenting had similar scores. However, the majority of late adolescents who felt their fathers were involved in parenting.
