Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen integrasi kurikulum Cambridge International dengan kurikulum nasional pada program International Preparation Class (IPC) di SMAIT Thariq Bin Ziyad Bekasi. Sub fokus penelitian ini adalah perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pengamatan (observasi), wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini meliputi: Kepala Sekolah SMAIT Thariq Bin Ziyad Bekasi, Koordinator Program IPC, Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kurikulum, Guru Bahasa Inggris Program IPC, Guru Biologi IGCSE, siswi IP kelas XI dan siswi IP kelas XII. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan rutin dilakukan satu kali dalam setahun pada bulan juni yang melibatkan kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kesiswaan, koordinator program IPC dan PJ bahasa, dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran seperti Struktur Kurikulum, Silabus, RPP (Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran) atau Lesson Plan, Kalender Akademik, Program Tahunan (Prota), Program Semester (Promes), Media Pembelajaran, Bahan Ajar, Evaluasi Pembelajaran dan Penilaian Hasil Belajar, dan juga menetapkan Standar Kompetensi Lulusan (SKL) serta kualifikasi tenaga pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan. (2) Pelaksanaan yang meliputi proses KBM (Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar) di dalam kelas IP, mengadakan sertifikasi kemampuan berbahasa Inggris serta melaksanakan program-program pendukung IPC seperti: Immersion Program, Native Speaker, English Camp, Exhibition Visit, program Every Day is English Day, Thariq On Voice (TOV), Alumni Talks serta program Student Exchange. (3) Evaluasi pembelajaran pada kelas IP dilaksanakan secara rutin setiap minggunya. Kegiatan evaluasi program IPC secara keseluruhan dilaksanakan 1 kali dalam setahun (bulan juni). ***** This study aims to describe the management of the integration of the Cambridge International curriculum with the national curriculum in the International Preparation Class (IPC) program at SMAIT Thariq Bin Ziyad Bekasi. The sub-focus of this research is planning, implementation and evaluation. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection was done through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Informants in this study include: Principal of SMAIT Thariq Bin Ziyad Bekasi, IPC Program Coordinator, Vice Principal for Curriculum, IPC Program English Teacher, IGCSE Biology Teacher, Grade XI IP students and Grade XII IP students. The results of this study show that: (1) Routine planning is carried out once a year in June which involves the principal, vice principal for curriculum, vice principal for student affairs, IPC program coordinator and language PJ, in preparing learning tools such as Curriculum Structure, Syllabus, RPP (Learning Implementation Plan) or Lesson Plan, Academic Calendar, Annual Program (Prota), Semester Program (Promes), Learning Media, Teaching Materials, Learning Evaluation and Assessment of Learning Outcomes, and also establishing Graduate Competency Standards (SKL) as well as the qualifications of educators and education personnel. (2) Implementation which includes the process of KBM (Teaching and Learning Activities) in the IP class, conducting certification of English language skills and implementing IPC supporting programs such as: Immersion Program, Native Speaker, English Camp, Exhibition Visit, Every Day is English Day program, Thariq On Voice (TOV), Alumni Talks and Student Exchange program. (3) Evaluation of learning in IP classes is carried out routinely every week. Overall IPC program evaluation activities are carried out once a year (June).
