Abstract

Berdasarkan wawancara dan observasi awal yang dilakukan di SDN Mekarjaya 1 Kota Depok ditemukan bahwa hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas VC belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yang telah ditentukan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar muatan IPAS siswa kelas V SDN Mekarjaya 1 Kota Depok melalui penerapan model Experiential Learning pada materi magnet. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Mekarjaya 1 Kota Depok dengan jumlah siswa 36 orang yang terdiri dari 17 orang laki-laki dari 19 orang siswa perempuan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Rancangan penelitian mengikuti tahap penelitian yang mengacu pada modifikasi diagram Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart, yaitu 1) Perencanaan tindakan, 2) Pelaksanaan tindakan, 3) Observasi, 4) Refleksi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi guru dan siswa serta tes hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar dari siklus I ke siklus II. Hasil tes belajar siswa yang diperoleh pada siklus I, yakni siswa yang tuntas 15 dari 36 siswa atau persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 41,66% serta aktivitas siswa dalam kategori baik. Pada siklus II diperoleh ketuntasan klasikal 89,02% serta aktivitas siswa berada dalam kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian penerapan Experiential Learning dalam pembelajaran IPAS pada materi magnet dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN Mekarjaya 1 Kota Depok. ***** Based on interviews and initial observations conducted at SDN Mekarjaya 1, Depok City, it was found that the science and science learning outcomes of class VC students had not reached the specified Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). Therefore, this research aims to improve the science learning outcomes of class V students at SDN Mekarjaya 1 Depok City through the application of the Experiential Learning model to magnetic material. The subjects of this research were class V students at SDN Mekarjaya 1 Depok City with a total of 36 students consisting of 17 boys from 19 female students. This research is classroom action research consisting of two cycles. The research design follows the research stages which refer to the modification of the Kemmis and Mc diagram. Taggart, namely 1) Action planning, 2) Implementation of action, 3) Observation, 4) Reflection. The instruments used were teacher and student observation sheets and student learning outcome tests. The results of this research indicate that there was an increase in learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. The results of the student learning tests obtained in cycle I were that 15 of the 36 students completed the test or a classical completion percentage of 41.66% and student activity was in the good category. In cycle II, classical completeness was obtained at 89.02% and student activities were in the very good category. Thus, the application of Experiential Learning in science and science learning on magnetic material can improve the learning outcomes of class V students at SDN Mekarjaya 1, Depok City.
