Abstract

*********ABSTRAK******** Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media Spotify Podcast terhadap kemampuan menyimak teks berita pada siswa kelas XI SMA Pelita Tiga No. 3 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian model one grup pre-test pos-ttest design. Uji prasyarat analisis data dilakukan dengan uji normalitas (Liliefors), pada nilai Pretest diperoleh L0 = 0,1825 < Ltabel = 1,9000 dengan taraf signifikansi α=0,05, sedangkan pada nilai Posttest diperoleh L0 = 0,1149 < Ltabel = 1,9000 maka dapat dinyatakan bahwa data berdistribusi normal. Hasil uji homogenitas (uji Fisher) diperoleh Fhitung= 1,105 dan Ftabel= 2,155, diperoleh bahwa Fhitung < Ftabel dapat dikatakan bahwa data memiliki varians homogen dengan taraf signifikansi α=0,05. Hasil analisis data dengan uji t diperoleh thitung= 4,929 > ttabel= 2,109 dari hasil interpolasi dengan taraf signifikansi α=0,05. Dapat dinyatakan bahwa H0 ditolak, dan H1 diterima. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penggunaan media Spotify Podcast berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menyimak teks berita pada siswa kelas XI SMA Pelita Tiga No. 3 Jakarta. Pada tahap penliaian terdapat lima aspek penilaian. Aspek penilaian ketepatan isi laporan memiliki pencapaian nilai paling tinggi daripada aspek nilai yang lain. Berdasarkan hasil di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Spotify Podcast dapat dijadikan sebagai media yang baik untuk pembelajaran teks berita. Selain itu, media ini juga dapat diimpelementasikan untuk pembelejaran lain seperti materi teks argumentasi pada kompetensi dasar 3.1 Mengidentifikasi ide pokok dan ide pendukung dalam teks argumentasi, dan kompetensi dasar 4.1 Menelaah pemahaman mengenai kemampuan menyampaikan pendapat dalam bentuk teks argumentasi. Kata Kunci: Spotify Podcast, menyimak, teks berita ******ABSTRACT******* This research aims to determine the effect of Spotify Podcast media on the ability to listen to news texts in class XI students at SMA Pelita Tiga No. 3 Jakarta. This research uses an experimental method with a research design model of one group pre-test post-test design. The prerequisite test for data analysis was carried out using the normality test (Liliefors), the Pretest value obtained L0 = 0.1825 < Ltable = 1.9000 with a significance level of α = 0.05, while the post test value obtained L0 = 0.1149 < Ltable = 1 .9000 then it can be stated that the data is normally distributed. The results of the homogeneity test (Fisher's test) obtained Fcount= 1.105 and Ftable= 2.155, it was found that Fcount < Ftable. It can be said that the data has a homogeneous variance with a significance level of α=0.05. The results of data analysis using the t test obtained tcount= 4.929 > ttable= 2.109 from interpolation results with a significance level of α=0.05. It can be stated that H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted. The results of this research show that the use of Spotify Podcast media influences the ability to listen to news texts in class XI students at Pelita Tiga No.3 High School Jakarta. At the assessment stage there are five aspects of assessment. The aspect of assessing the accuracy of report content has the highest value achievement compared to other value aspects. Based on the results above, it can be concluded that Spotify Podcast media can be used as a good medium for learning news texts. Apart from that, this media can also be implemented for other learning such as argumentative text material on basic competency 3.1 Identifying main ideas and supporting ideas in argumentative texts, and basic competency 4.1 Examining understanding regarding the ability to convey opinions in the form of argumentative texts.
