Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menggambarkan fenomena secara deskriptif penerapan Program Adiwiyata dalam membentuk karakter peduli lingkungan pada siswa SDN Pekayon 18. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Dengan berfokus pada perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hambatan dalam program Adiwiyata, dan sikap serta perilaku siswa terhadap lingkungan hidup.Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa penerapan program Adiwiyata di SDN Pekayon 18 mampu membentuk karakter peduli lingkungan siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya perubahan perilaku siswa dari yang tidak tahu menjadi tahu, dari yang tidak bisa menjadi bisa, dari yang tidak peduli menjadi peduli. Dalam pelaksanaannya, sekolah telah menjalankan keempat komponen Adiwiyata, yaitu kebijakan berwawasan lingkungan, kurikulum berbasis lingkungan, kegiatan lingkungan berbasis partisipatif, dan pengelolaan sarana prasarana pendukung ramah lingkungan.Pelaksanaan program Adiwiyata di SDN Pekayon 18 Jakarta memiliki implikasi dan dampak yang positif terhadap perubahan karakter peduli lingkungan dalam diri siswa. Siswa menjadi lebih cinta dan peduli terhadap lingkungan, serta bertanggung jawab dan disiplin terhadap lingkungannya baik di sekolah, rumah, maupun masyarakat. This research aims to analyze and describe the phenomenon descriptively of the implementation of the Adiwiyata Program in forming environmentally caring character in students at SDN Pekayon 18. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. By focusing on planning, implementation, obstacles in the Adiwiyata program, and students' attitudes and behavior towards the environment. The results of this research are that the implementation of the Adiwiyata program at SDN Pekayon 18 is able to form students' environmentally caring character. This is shown by a change in student behavior from not knowing to knowing, from not being able to being able to, from not caring to being concerned. In its implementation, the school has implemented the four components of Adiwiyata, namely environmentally friendly policies, environmentally based curriculum, participatory environmental activities, and management of environmentally friendly supporting infrastructure. Implementation of the Adiwiyata program at SDN Pekayon 18 Jakarta has positive implications and impacts on changes in caring character. students' inner environment. Students become more loving and caring about the environment, and are responsible and disciplined towards their environment both at school, home and in the community.
