Abstract
Self Esteem (Harga diri) merupakan elemen penting bagi perkembangan karakter remaja, termasuk mereka yang tinggal di panti asuhan. Self esteem memengaruhi interaksi sosial, sikap terhadap diri sendiri, dan kemampuan dalam menghadapi tantangan hidup. Remaja dengan self esteem tinggi lebih termotivasi untuk mencapai tujuan dan mengatasi kegagalan, sedangkan yang rendah self esteem akan merasa tidak berharga dan kesulitan menghadapi tantangan. Oleh karena itu, Pesantren Khusus Yatim As-Syafi'iyah yang merupakan pengembangan dari konsep panti asuhan mengadakan kegiatan muhadharah untuk membantu mengembangkan self esteem remaja santri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui bagaimana implementasi kegiatan muhadharah di Pesantren Khusus Yatim As – Syafi’iyah, (2) mengetahui bagaimana kegiatan muhadharah dalam mengembangkan self esteem remaja santri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun peneliti menggunakan tringulasi data untuk mengecek keabsahan data dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kegiatan muhadharah adalah kegiatan yang diwajibkan bagi semua santri, diadakan setiap malam Minggu setelah waktu isya pukul 20.00 – 22.00 WIB dengan susunan acara yang sistematis. Persiapan dimulai seminggu sebelumnya, di mana setiap firqoh atau kelompok memiliki kesempatan untuk melatih dan mempersiapkan diri untuk perlombaan. Dalam kegiatan ini, terdapat aturan pelaksanaan yang mencakup hal-hal seperti kehadiran, jadwal setiap tahap perlombaan, pakaian sopan dan rapi, dan memastikan agar tidak ada yang mengganggu kelancaran acara. Kendala umum yang sering dihadapi meliputi kedatangan tamu yang sering dan masalah terkait waktu. Selain itu, ada juga hadiah atau penghargaan seperti piala, sertifikat, camilan, dan barang-barang lainnya. Serta evaluasi kegiatan muhadharah diadakan setelah hari malam puncak muhadharah. (2) Kegiatan muhadharah cenderung memiliki dampak positif dalam mengembangkan self esteem remaja santri terutama dalam indikator menghormati diri, adapun indikator yang kurang menonjol adalah indikator perasaan berharga. Dengan memberikan penghargaan atas usaha dan partisipasi santri, muhadharah dapat memberikan dampak positif yang lebih menyeluruh bagi perkembangan self esteem santri. Kata kunci: Self Esteem, Muhadharah, Remaja Santri. Self Esteem is an important element for the character development of adolescents, including those living in orphanages. Self esteem influences social interactions, attitudes towards oneself, and ability to face life's challenges. Adolescents with high self esteem are more motivated to achieve goals and overcome failure, while those with low self-esteem will feel worthless and have difficulty facing challenges. Therefore, the As-Syafi'iyah Orphan Special Islamic Boarding School, which is a development of the orphanage concept, holds muhadharah activities to help develop the self esteem of young students. This research aims to (1) find out how muhadharah activities are implemented at the As - Syafi'iyah Orphan Special Islamic Boarding School, (2) find out how muhadharah activities develop the self esteem of young students. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The researchers used data triangulation to check the validity of the data with data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the research show that (1) muhadharah activities are mandatory activities for all students, held every Sunday night after Isha time at 8 to 10 8 o'clock pm with a systematic schedule of events. Preparation begins a week before, where each firqoh or group has the opportunity to train and prepare for the race. In this activity, there are implementation rules which include things such as attendance, schedule for each stage of the competition, polite and neat clothing, and ensuring that nothing interferes with the smooth running of the event. Common obstacles frequently encountered include frequent guest arrivals and time-related issues. Apart from that, there are also prizes or awards such as trophies, certificates, snacks and other items. As well as evaluation of muhadharah activities held after the peak evening of muhadharah. (2) Muhadharah activities tend to have a positive impact in developing the self-esteem of young students, especially in terms of self-respect, while indicators that are less prominent are indicators of feelings of worth. By rewarding students' efforts and participation, muhadharah can have a more comprehensive positive impact on the development of students' self esteem.
