Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku bantu diri dalam membantu peserta didik membuat perencanaan karier. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D), dengan model pengembangan dalam penelitian adalah Model Pengembangan desain Intruksional Analyze, Design, Develop, implement, dan Evaluation (ADDIE). Pada tahap analisis, peneliti melakukan penyebaran analisis kebutuhan yang dilakukan kepada peserta didik kelas X di SMAN 03 Cibinong dengan jumlah responden 300 peserta didik. Selanjutnya, pada tahap desain, penelitian ini menggunakan teori langkah-langkah perencanaan karier menurut Dillard (1985) yang berisi Misi 1: Meingeinal Bakatmui, Misi 2: Pahami Minatmui, Misi 3: Keinali Nilai-Nilai dalam Dirimui, Misi 4: Pahami Jeinis Keipribadianmu, Misi 5: Peirhatikan Keiseimpatan Karieir, Misi 6: Peirhatikan Kineirja Karieir, Misi 7: Peirhatikan Gaya Hiduip, Misi 8: Peita Peireincanaan Karieirmui serta menggunakan aplikasi Canva sebagai alat pengembangan media buku bantu diri. Produk yang telah dikembangkan divalidasi oleh dua orang validator ahli dan peserta didik sebagai calon pengguna, yaitu validator ahli media, validator ahli materi, dan peserta didik kelas X SMAN 03 Cibinong. Hasil kalayakan validasi yakni, validator ahli media memberikan skor sebesar 91,5% (Sangat Layak) dan sesuai dengan aspek validasi media, validator ahli materi memberikan skor sebesar 86,4% (Sangat Layak) dan sesuai dengan aspek validasi materi, dan penilaian peserta didik dengan skor 96,3% (Sangat Layak). Kesimpulan penelitian ini ialah buku bantuan diri yang telah dikembangkan dikategorikan Sangat Layak. Kedepannya, diharapkan buku ini dapat dilakukan uji coba secara luas sehingga dapat lebih efektif penggunaannya. ***** This research aims to develop a self-help book to help students make career plans. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method, The development model in research is the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluation (ADDIE) Instructional Design Development Model. At the analysis stage, the researcher distributed the needs analysis to class X students at SMAN 03 Cibinong with a total of 300 students as respondents. Next, at the design stage, This research uses the theory of career planning steps according to Dillard (1985) which contains Mission 1: Understand Your Talents, Mission 2: Understand Your Interests, Mission 3: Get to Know Your Values, Mission 4: Understand Your Personality Type, Mission 5: Pay Attention to Imbalances Career, Mission 6: Pay attention to Career Performance, Mission 7: Pay attention to Lifestyle, Mission 8: Career Planning Map and use the Canva application as a media development tool for self-help books. The product that has been developed is validated by two expert validators and students as potential users, namely media expert validators, material expert validators, and class X students at SMAN 03 Cibinong. Validation feasibility results, namely, the media expert validator gave a score of 91.5% (Very Feasible) and in accordance with media validation aspects, material expert validator gave a score of 86.4% (Very Feasible) and in accordance with aspects of material validation, and student assessment with a score of 96.3% (Very Feasible). The conclusion of this research is that the self-help book that has been developed is categorized as Very Appropriate. In the future, it is hoped that this book can be tested widely so that it can be used more effectively.
