Abstract

Kentucky Fried Chicken atau biasa disebut KFC merupakan salah satu merek waralaba cepat saji asal Amerika yang sudah tersebar di seluruh Indonesia salah satunya di Pangkalan Jati. KFC Pangkalan Jati merupakan restoran yang memiliki sistem reservasi secara manual yaitu dengan datang langsung ke tempat atau menghubungi melalui telepon untuk reservasi, menanyakan jadwal, ataupun melakukan pembayaran reservasi tempat. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan observasi dengan pengelola KFC Pangkalan Jati, untuk mempermudah pelanggan maka dibutuhkan Pengembangan sistem reservasi tempat di KFC Pangkalan Jati berbasis Website khusunya pada penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan Front-End untuk mengintegrasikan tampilan UI/UX dan Back-End dengan tujuan untuk membantu proses reservasi tempat dan pengelolaan data reservasi di KFC Pangkalan Jati. Sistem ini dikembangkan dengan metode pengembangan Prototype yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu Analisis terhadap kebutuhan pengguna, Quick Design (Desain cepat), pembentukan Prototype, evaluasi dan perbaikan Prototype, dan tahap testing. Tahap testing pada penelitian ini menggunakan Black Box Testing dengan hasil pengujian yang menunjukkan tidak adanya error atau kesalahan pada setiap fungsi sistem. Maka berdasarkan pengujian Black Box Testing dapat dipastikan bahwa sistem sudah bekerja dengan kebutuhan dan layak digunakan oleh pengguna. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan sistem berbasis Website dapat dilakukan dengan metode Prototype dan dapat berhasil dilakukan sehingga dapat menyelesaikan penelitian ini. Kentucky Fried Chicken or commonly called KFC is one of the fast food franchise brands from America that has spread throughout Indonesia, one of which is in Pangkalan Jati. KFC Pangkalan Jati is a restaurant that has a manual reservation system, namely by coming directly to the place or contacting by telephone to make a reservation, ask for a schedule, or make a reservation payment. Based on the results of interviews and observations with the manager of KFC Pangkalan Jati, to make it easier for customers, it is necessary to develop a place reservation system at KFC Pangkalan Jati based on a Website, especially in this research, namely the development of Front-End to integrate UI/UX and Back-End views with the aim of helping the place reservation process and managing reservation data at KFC Pangkalan Jati. This system was developed using the Prototype development method which consists of five stages, namely analyzing user needs, Quick Design, Prototype formation, Prototype evaluation and improvement, and testing stages. The testing stage in this study used Black Box Testing with test results that show no errors or errors in each system function. So based on Black Box Testing, it can be ascertained that the system has worked with the needs and is suitable for use by users. So it can be concluded that the development of a Website-based system can be done using the Prototype method and can be successfully carried out so that it can complete this research.
