Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang strategi komunikasi widyaiswara dalam mengelola kelas pada Pelatihan Kepemimpinan Pengawas di Pusdiklatbangprof Kemensos RI. Sub fokus dalam penelitian ini meliputi; strategi komunikasi, perencanaan dalam proses berkomunikasi, metode belajar, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode naratif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Strategi komunikasi yang digunakan oleh widyaiswara adalah dengan menggunakan teknik konvergensi yang didukung oleh komunikasi verbal, komunikasi visual, dan komunikasi interaktif; 2) Perencanaan dalam mengelola kelas yang diterapkan oleh widyaiswara adalah dengan memahami materi dan tujuan pembelajaran, menyiapkan PPT dan RPP, layout ruangan, dan penilaian peserta; 3) Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan widyaiswara adalah ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab, simulasi atau role play, dan ditutup dengan games. Kata Kunci : Strategi Komunikasi, Widyaiswara, Pelatihan Kepemimpinan Pengawas This research aims to describe Widyaiswara's communication strategies in managing classes at Supervisory Leadership Training at the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs' Pusdiklatbangprof. Sub focuses in this research include; communication strategies, planning in the communication process, learning methods, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors. This research uses a qualitative approach and narrative method with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation studies. The results of this research show that: 1) The communication strategy used by widyaiswara is to use convergence techniques which are supported by verbal communication, visual communication and interactive communication; 2) Planning in managing the class implemented by widyaiswara is by understanding the material and learning objectives, preparing PPT and RPP, room layout, and participant assessment; 3) The learning methods used by widyaiswara are lectures, discussions and questions and answers, simulations or role plays, and closed with games.
