Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses terjadinya kesadaran para pelaku politik identitas melalui gambaran novel. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk memiliki pengetahuan yang mendalam terkait politik identitas yang terjadi di warga masyarakat, dalam bahasan ini adalah identitas keagamaan. Terlebih penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi agar menyikapi segala persoalan konflik keagamaan, khususnya Islam liberal dan Islam konsevatif, dengan bijak dan tidak termakan hasutan-hasutan dari pihak yang tidak bertanggungjawab. Dalam penulisan ini, metode yang digunakan adalah metode konten analisis milik Teun A. Van Dijk. Dengan memperhatikan ketiga komponen yakni teks, kognisi sosial, dan konteks sosial maka akan terlihat bagaimana pemahaman yang diterima oleh pengarang novel dari konteks sosialnya, lalu bagaimana penggunaan bahasa hasil dari produksi kognitifnya. Untuk mendukung konten analisis tersebut, penelitian ini juga menggunakan metode kualitatif yang sangat ditunjang dengan wawancara dan pengkajian atau penulisan kepustakaan. Berdasarkan hasil pembedahan novel, penelitian ini menemukan adanya politik identitas pengarang terhadap makin berkembangnya paham liberal di Indonesia. Terdapat tiga karakter utama dalam novel. Tokoh Rahmat sebagai representasi dari Islam Ahlusunnah wal Jamaah. Tokoh Kemi sebagai representasi dari Islam Liberal. Tokoh Siti representasi Islam yang menang atas feminis radikal. Politik identitas tersebut lebih menekankan pada penggunaan identitas yang dimiliki sebagai seorang muslim menjadi cara pandang dalam menjalankan kehidupan. Dalam aktifitas perdebatan dari politik identitas tersebut juga terkuak bagaimana akhirnya penggunaan dari identitas nya sebagai seorang muslim semakin menguatkan posisi identitas politiknya. Islam hadir sebagai ideologi final. Kata Kunci : Identitas, Politik Identitas, Novel, Konten Analisis This research aims to find out how the process of awareness of the identity politics actors through the novel description. This research also aims to have in-depth knowledge related to identity politics that occurs in the community, in this discussion is religious identity. Moreover, this research aims to provide solutions to address all problems of religious conflict, especially liberal Islam and conservative Islam, wisely and not incited by incitement from irresponsible parties. In this writing, the method used is Teun A. Van Dijk's content analysis method. By paying attention to the three components namely text, social cognition, and social context, it will be seen how the understanding received by the novel author from his social context, then how the use of language results from cognitive production. To support the content of the analysis, this research also uses qualitative methods that are strongly supported by interviews and literature review. Based on the results of the dissection of the novel, this study found the existence of the author's identity politics towards the growing development of liberalism in Indonesia. There are three main characters in the novel. Rahmat figure as a representation of Islam Ahlusunnah wal Jamaah. Kemi figure as a representation of Liberal Islam. Siti's figure is an Islamic representation that wins over radical feminists. Identity politics emphasizes the use of identity held as a Muslim as a way of looking at running life. In the activities of the debate over identity politics it also revealed how the use of his identity as a Muslim finally strengthened his political identity position.
