Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan persepsi pemilih pemula Desa Cikasungka Kabupaten Tangerang Banten terhadap partai Politik. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini terdapat 15 orang informan yang merupakan pemilih pemula. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan persepsi pemilih pemula Desa Cikasungka ditinjau dari aspek-aspek persepsi, pada aspek kognitif telah memiliki pengetahuan dan pemahaman pemilih pemula mengenai konsep dan fungsi partai politik. Aspek afektif mengenai penilaian pemilih pemula pada partai politik menunjukan bahwa partai politik belum melaksanakan fungsi dengan baik dalam komunikasi politik, sosialisasi politik, kaderisasi politik serta pengatur konflik dan dalam aspek konatif mengenai tingkah laku partai politik yang masih terdapat jarak antara partai politik dengan masyarakat. Selain itu, persepsi Pemilih Pemula Desa Cikasungka terhadap partai politik ditinjau dari sifat-sifat persepsi ditemukan partai politik belum menunjukkan kinerja yang baik ditinjau berdasarkan rekam jejak partai politik, kinerja dan kader partai politik serta partai politik masih melakukan pencitraan dan politik identitas sehingga partai politik perlu melakukan evaluasi pada pelaksanaan fungsi partai politik. Kata Kunci : Persepsi, Pemilih Pemula, Partai politik ***** This research aims to find out and describe the perceptions of novice voters in Cikasungka Village, Tangerang Banten Regency towards political parties. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The subjects in this research were 15 informants who were beginner voters. The results of this research show the perception of beginner voters in Cikasungka Village in terms of perception aspects, in the cognitive aspect, beginner voters have knowledge and understanding of the concept and function of political parties. The affective aspect regarding the assessment of new voters on political parties shows that political parties have not carried out their functions well in political communication, political socialization, political cadre formation and conflict management and in the conative aspect regarding the behavior of political parties where there is still a distance between political parties and society. Apart from that, the perception of Cikasungka Village Beginner Voters towards political parties in terms of the characteristics of the perception was found that political parties have not shown good performance based on the track record of political parties, performance and cadres of political parties and political parties are still carrying out image and identity politics so that political parties need to carry out evaluations on the implementation of political party functions.
