Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Jakarta mengenai humor seksis sebagai bentuk kekerasan seksual secara verbal. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 24 orang mahasiswa aktif Universitas Negeri Jakarta yang pernah menyampaikan dan mendapatkan humor seksis, dan atau keduanya. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat tiga persepsi yang dihasilkan, yaitu humor seksis adalah kekerasan seksual secara verbal, humor seksis adalah candaan, dan penentuan persepsi ditentukan oleh siapa yang menyampaikan humor tersebut. (2) Latar belakang terjadinya penyampaian humor seksis di kalangan mahasiswa UNJ disebabkan oleh pengalaman masa lalu, pengetahuan, lingkungan, system hukum, dam relasi kuasa.***** This study was conducted to determine the perceptions of Jakarta State University students regarding sexist humor as a form of verbal sexual violence. This research was conducted at the State University of Jakarta. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study were conducted through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The research subjects consisted of 24 active students of Universitas Negeri Jakarta who had Dianavered and received sexist humor, and or both. The results concluded that: (1) There are three perceptions produced, namely sexist humor is verbal sexual violence, sexist humor is a joke, and the determination of perception is determined by who Dianavered the humor. (2) The background of sexist humor Dianavery among UNJ students is caused by past experiences, knowledge, environment, legal system, and power relations.
