Abstract

ABSTRAK Alyya Haliza Maharani, Trend Coffee Shop Pads Konsumen Remaja Berperilaku FoMO di Kelurahan Pulo Gebang. Skripsi. Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Jakarta,2024. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan trend coffee shop pada konsumen remaja berperilaku FoMO di Kelurahan Pulo Gebang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Coffee Shop Stay Kopi-Kopian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Analisi data dilakukan dengan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitiam menunjukkan bahwa terlihat bahwa sebagian besar remaja lebih mengutamakan tren dibandingkan kebutuhan. Ada berbagai alasan mengapa remaja lebih memilih menikmati kopi di kafe. Selain untuk ngobrol bersama teman, ketersediaan Wi-Fi membuat kafe populer di kalangan remaja yang suka duduk berjam-jam sambil menggunakan internet gratis atau mengerjakan pekerjaan rumah. Suasana dan konsep yang menarik juga menjadi alasan banyak remaja yang mengunjungi kedai kopi. Dengan banyaknya fasilitas yang ditawarkan di kedai kopi, membuat masyarakat semakin termotivasi untuk berkunjung dan menghabiskan waktu di kedai kopi. kegiatan minum kopi juga menjadi sebuah gaya hidup yang baru. Remaja tidak lagi mengunjungi coffee shop hanya untuk secangkir kopi tetapi untuk menaikan gengsi mereka. Banyak juga dikalangan remaja hanya sekedar ikut-ikutan. This research aims to describe coffee shop trends among teenage consumers with FoMO behavior in Pulo Gebang Subdistrict. This research was conducted at the Coffee Shop Stay Kopi-Kopian. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that it appears that most teenagers prioritize trends over needs. There are various reasons why teenagers prefer to enjoy coffee in cafes. Apart from chatting with friends, the availability of Wi-Fi makes cafes popular among teenagers who like to sit for hours while using the free internet or doing homework. The attractive atmosphere and concept are also the reasons why many teenagers visit coffee shops. With the many facilities offered at coffee shops, people are increasingly motivated to visit and spend time at coffee shops. Drinking coffee has also become a new lifestyle. Teenagers no longer visit coffee shops just for a cup of coffee but to increase their prestige. Many teenagers also just follow along.
