Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan supervisi klinis yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Negeri 15 Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah, guru, dan pihak terkait lainnya, serta observasi langsung terhadap proses supervisi klinis yang dilakukan di sekolah tersebut. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan induktif, di mana temuan dari lapangan dianalisis secara mendalam untuk memahami implementasi supervisi klinis dan dampaknya terhadap kinerja guru. Temuan penelitian ini mengungkapkan beberapa faktor pendukung dalam pelaksanaan supervisi klinis, seperti peran penting supervisor sebagai fasilitator, pemberian sumber daya yang memadai, program pengembangan profesional bagi supervisor, kolaborasi antara supervisor dan guru, serta dukungan dari pihak eksternal. Namun, penelitian juga mengidentifikasi beberapa faktor penghambat, seperti ketersediaan waktu yang terbatas, kesulitan beberapa guru dalam beradaptasi dengan teknologi terbaru. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah perlunya perhatian yang lebih besar terhadap pengembangan keterampilan dan sumber daya supervisor, serta perlunya dukungan yang lebih kuat dari manajemen sekolah dalam mendukung implementasi supervisi klinis yang efektif. ***** This research aims to conduct a supervision by school principals on teacher performance in SMA Negeri 15 Jakarta. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with school principals, teachers, and other relevant stakeholders, as well as direct observation of the clinical supervision process conducted in the school. Data analysis was conducted using an inductive approach, where field findings were analyzed in-depth to understand the implementation of clinical supervision and its impact on teacher performance. The findings of this research reveal several supportive factors in the implementation of clinical supervision, such as the crucial role of supervisors as facilitators, the provision of adequate resources, professional development programs for supervisors, collaboration between supervisors and teachers, and support from external parties. However, the study also identifies several inhibiting factors, such as limited availability of time and difficulties for some teachers in adapting to new technologies. The implications of this research emphasize the need for greater attention to the development of supervisor skills and resources, as well as the need for stronger support from school management in supporting effective implementation of clinical supervision.
