Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh langsung motivasi belajar dan teman sebaya terhadap minat belajar peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 36 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data primer melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 180 peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 36 Jakarta. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan Partial Least Square (PLS) atau yang dikenal dengan SEM-PLS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar dan teman sebaya berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat belajar peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 36 Jakarta secara langsung. Kemudian, motivasi belajar memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap teman sebaya. Selain itu, terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara tidak langsung motivasi belajar terhadap minat belajar peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 36 Jakarta melalui teman sebaya sebagai variabel mediasi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa meningkatkan motivasi siswa dan membangun lingkungan teman sebaya yang mendukung sangat penting untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa ***** This study aims to analyze the direct effect of learning motivation and peers on the interest in learning of students in class XI of SMAN 36 Jakarta. This study also analyzes peers in mediating the indirect effect of learning motivation on students' interest in learning class XI of SMAN 36 Jakarta. This study uses quantitative methods by using primary data through distributing questionnaires to 180 students of class XI of SMAN 36 Jakarta. The analysis technique used in this research is Structural Equation Model (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) or known as SEM-PLS. The results of this study indicate that learning motivation and peers have a positive and significant effect on learning interest of students in class XI of SMAN 36 Jakarta directly. Then, learning motivation has a positive and significant influence on peers. In addition, there is an indirect positive and significant effect of learning motivation on the interest in learning of students of grade XI of SMAN 36 Jakarta through peers as a mediating variable. These findings suggest that increasing students' motivation and building a supportive peer environment are essential to increase students' interest in learning.
