Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh project based learning dan ekoliterasi terhadap keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa Kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian dilakukan kepada 40 siswa Kelas V yang berasal dari 2 sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Kuningan yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis varians (ANAVA) dua jalur treatment by level 2 x 2. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) Terdapat perbedaan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan project based learning dengan siswa yang belajar dengan problem based learning; 2) Terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara model project based learning dan ekoliterasi terhadap keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa; 3) Terdapat perbedaan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan model project based learning dengan problem based learning pada kelompok siswa dengan ekoliterasi tinggi; 4) Terdapat perbedaan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa yang belajar menggunakan model project based learning dengan siswa yang menggunakan problem based learning pada kelompok siswa dengan ekoliterasi rendah. Berdasarkan hasil temuan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Project Based Learning lebih baik diterapkan pada siswa yang memiliki ekoliterasi tinggi karena dapat memfasilitasi peningkatan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi, model Problem Based Learning lebih baik pada siswa yang memiliki ekoliterasi rendah karena dapat memfasilitasi perolehan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi yang lebih baik. ***** Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of project based learning and ecoliteracy on the higher-order thinking skills of fifth grade elementary school students. Conducted on 40 students of fifth grade from 2 elementary schools in Kuningan Regency, this study uses a cluster random sampling technique. The quasi-experimental research method is chosen with data analysis techniques using analysis of variance (ANOVA) two treatment lines by level 2 x 2. The results show that: 1) There are differences in high-order thinking skills between students who learn using project based learning and those who learn with problem based learning; 2) There is an interaction effect between the project based learning model and ecoliteracy on students' high-order thinking skills; 3) There are differences in high-order thinking skills between students who learn using the project based learning model and those who learn with problem based learning among groups of students with high ecoliteracy; 4) There are differences in the high-order thinking skills of students who learn using the project based learning model and students who learn with problem based learning in the group of students with low ecoliteracy. Based on the findings, the Project Based Learning model ismore better applied to students who have high ecoliteracy since it facilitate the improvement of higher order thinking skills. Meanwhile, the Problem Based Learning model is more better applied to students with low ecoliteracy to enhance their higher order thinking skills.
