Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data mengenai mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Jakarta yang melakukan hubungan Friend With Benefit, bentuk hubungan yang mereka jalani, dan faktor penyebab mereka melakukan hubungan Friend With Benefit. Untuk mendapatkan gambaran jelas mengenai bentuk dan faktor penyebab mahasiswa melakukan hubungan Friend With Benefit, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan melakukan pengamatan yang mendalam sehingga dapat menghasilkan data yang valid sesuai studi kasus yang dibahas. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara terstruktur dan observasi non partisipan. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa UNJ yang menjalin hubungan Friend With Benefit kebanyakan menjalin hubungan dalam bentuk True Friend dan Just Sex. Faktor penyebab yang paling banyak mereka gunakan sebagai alasan melakukan Friend With Benefit adalah tidak mau berkomitmen. Kata Kunci: Friend With Benefit, Mahasiswa. ***** This study aims to obtain data about State University of Jakarta students who have Friend With Benefit relationships, the forms of relationships they live in, and the factors that cause them to have Friend With Benefit relationships. To get a clear picture of the forms and factors that cause students to have Friend With Benefit relationships, researchers use a qualitative approach by making in-depth observations so as to produce valid data according to the case studies discussed. Data collection techniques were carried out by structured interviews, non-participant observation, and field notes. The results concluded that UNJ students who establish Friend With Benefit relationships mostly establish relationships in the form of True Friend and Just Sex. The causal factor that most of them use as a reason for doing Friend With Benefit is not wanting to commit. Keywords: Friend With Benefit, Students.
