Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi telah berdampak posistif pada seni menghias kuku (Nail art), berbagai macam teknik menghias kuku telah berkembang melalui penggunaan alat dan kosmetika yang lebih modern. Munculnya kosmetika kuku yang sering digunakan nail beautician mulai dari acrylic powder hingga kosmetika terbaru yaitu carving gel. Kedua kosmetika tersebut digunakan untuk membuat dekorasi nail art 3 dimensi dengan berbagai bentuk salah satunya bentuk bunga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil menghias kuku (nail art) 3 dimensi bentuk bunga antara yang menggunakan acrylic powder dengan carving gel. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Kosmetik dan Perawatan Kecantikan angkatan 2020 yang berjumlah 54 orang dengan 5 orang sampel penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan 5 (lima) orang sampel dan dengan melakukan penelitian pada bagian kuku saja. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05, yaitu didapat hasil thitung = 3,214 dan ttabel = 2,306, ternyata thitung > ttabel. Dari hasil tersebut dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa Ho ditolak Ha diterima. Artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil menghias kuku (nail art) 3 dimensi bentuk bunga antara yang menggunakan acrylic powder dengan carving gel. Perbedaan tersebut dapat dilihat dari jarak rata - rata penilaian juri yang berbeda pada kedua hasil diperoleh penggunaan acrylic powder memiliki nilai rata rata 17,93 dan penggunaan carving gel memiliki niali rata – rata 15,20. Perbedaan ini dikarenakan cara penggunaan dari kedua kosmetika berbeda, dimana penggunaan acrylic powder menggunakan kuas dan carving gel menggunakan sillicon pen sehingga menghasilkan hasil yang berbeda. ***** Technological developments have had a positive impact on nail art, a variety of nail decoration techniques have evolved through the use of more modern tools and cosmetics. The appearance of nail cosmetics is often used by nail beautician ranging from acrylic powder to the latest cosmetic that is carving gel. Both of these cosmeticas are used to make 3 dimensional nail art decoration with various shapes one of which is a flower shape. This research aims to find out the difference between the three-dimensional nail art result between the use of acrylic powder and carving gel. This research is experimental quantitative research. The research population is a student of the 2020 Force's Cosmetics and Beauty Studies Program, which is 54 people with 5 people sample research. This study uses 5 (five) people samples and by doing research on the part of the nail only. Data analysis techniques using normality tests, homogenity tests and t tests. Based on the results of hypothetical testing using t tests at a significant level of α = 0,05, i.e. thitung = 3,214 and ttabel = 2,306, it turns out thitung > ttabel. From these results can be drawn the conclusion that Ho rejected H1 accepted. These differences can be seen from the average range of different jury judgments on both braces, the obtained use of acrylic powder has an average value of 17,93 and the use of carving gel has a mean value of 15,20. This difference is due to the different uses of the two cosmetics, where the use of acrylic powder using a brush and carving gel using a sillicon pen resulting in different results.
