Abstract

Regulasi emosi kognitif dan kelekatan teman sebaya menjadi faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi siswa sebagai remaja awal dalam berpikir dan berperilaku. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengaruh regulasi emosi kognitif dan kelekatan teman sebaya terhadap perilaku perundungan pada siswa di salah satu SMP Negeri Jakarta Timur. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode kuantitatif asosiatif yaitu melalui kegiatan survei dengan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling dan dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei-Juni 2024. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner online menggunakan Google Form dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 214 sampel yang terdiri atas siswa kelas 7 dan kelas 8. Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara regulasi emosi kognitif terhadap perilaku perundungan dengan p-value sebesar 0,058 > 0,05, serta terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kelekatan teman sebaya terhadap perilaku perundungan degan p-value sebesar 0,003 < 0,05. Hasil signifikansi regresi berganda menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara regulasi emosi kognitif dan kelekatan teman sebaya terhadap perilaku perundungan pada siswa dengan p-value sebesar 0,008 < 0,05. Oleh karena itu, sangat penting bagi pihak sekolah untuk tetap mendampingi siswa agar dapat selalu menerapkan regulasi emosi kognitif yang adaptif dan memantau hubungan teman sebaya pada kelompok-kelompok pertemanan siswa, sehingga mampu mengurangi perilaku perundungan di kalangan siswa di sekolah. ***** Cognitive emotion regulation and peer attachment play significant roles in shaping the thoughts and behaviors of early adolescents. This study aims to determine the influence of cognitive emotion regulation and peer attachment on bullying behavior among students in a public junior high school in East Jakarta. The research method used a quantitative approach, the study conducted a survey utilizing proportionate stratified random sampling. Data collection was carried out from April-June 2024, with 214 respondents from grades 7 and 8 participating. Online questionnaires were administered through Google Forms to gather the necessary data. Regression analysis revealed no significant correlation between cognitive emotion regulation and bullying behavior, with a p-value of 0.058 > 0.05. However, a significant relationship was found between peer attachment and bullying behavior, with a p-value of 0.003 < 0,05. Furthermore, multiple regression analysis demonstrated a significant positive influence of both cognitive emotion regulation and peer attachment on bullying behavior among students, with a p-value of 0.008, indicating a value less than the significance level. The study highlights the crucial role of schools in fostering adaptive cognitive emotion regulation skills and monitoring peer relationships among students. Therefore, schools can effectively reduce bullying behavior among students within the school environment.
