Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis kontribusi pembelajaran bahasa Arab dalam meningkatkan maharah al-kitabah al-'Arabiyyah mahasiswa, khususnya dalam aspek imla’ manqul, mandzhur, masmu’, dan ikhtibary. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analisis. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, melibatkan enam narasumber: dua mahasiswa lulusan SMA/SMK, dua lulusan Madrasah Aliyah, dan dua lulusan pondok pesantren. Analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran bahasa Arab berkontribusi signifikan terhadap maharah al-kitabah al-‘Arabiyyah mahasiswa, terutama dalam aspek imla’. Dalam imla’ manqul, mahasiswa mampu menyalin teks Arab dengan tepat dan akurat. Pada imla’ mandzhur, sebagian besar mahasiswa bisa menulis kata dan kalimat Arab dengan benar berdasarkan pengamatan langsung terhadap teks. Kemampuan imla’ masmu’ mahasiswa juga meningkat meskipun belum secara signifikan. Terakhir, dalam imla’ ikhtibary, meskipun terdapat beberapa kendala seperti kecepatan menulis dan penguasaan tata bahasa, mahasiswa secara keseluruhan menunjukkan kemampuan menulis yang baik selama diuji melalui metode evaluasi langsung. Namun, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi kekurangan dalam penguasaan kaidah imla’, menunjukkan perlunya pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih terstruktur dan relevan untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut, serta meningkatkan kualitas penulisan bahasa Arab di masa mendatang. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab, Maharah Al-Kitabah, Imla’ ***** This study aims to describe and analyze the contribution of Arabic language instruction to improving students' Arabic writing skills (maharah al-kitabah al-'Arabiyyah), particularly in the aspects of imla’ manqul, mandzhur, masmu’, and ikhtibary. The research employs a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis methods. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Interviews were conducted using purposive sampling, involving six respondents: two graduates from High School, two from Madrasah Aliyah, and two from Islamic boarding schools. Data analysis included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that Arabic language learning significantly contributes to students' Arabic writing skills, especially in the aspect of imla’. In imla’ manqul, students demonstrated the ability to accurately copy Arabic texts. In imla’ mandzhur, most students were able to correctly write Arabic words and sentences based on direct observation of the text. Students abilities in imla’ masmu’ also improved, although not significantly. Lastly, in imla’ ikhtibary, despite some challenges such as writing speed and grammar mastery, students generally showed good writing skills during direct evaluation. However, the study also identified a lack of mastery in imla’ rules, indicating the need for a more structured and relevant instructional approach to address these challenges and improve the quality of Arabic writing in the future.
