Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Manajemen Teaching Factory Kompetensi Keahlian Kriya Kreatif Logam dan Perhiasan di SMK Negeri 58 Jakarta. Sub fokus penelitian ini yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengawasan, dan dampak implementasi. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Informan penelitian ini adalah Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Humas, Ketua Kompetensi Keahlian, Guru dan Peserta didik. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan dirumuskan sekitar bulan Juni/Juli saat rapat kerja menjelang tahun ajaran baru dan dilakukan oleh Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah, Kepala Kompetensi Keahlian, dan Guru. Perencanaan meliputi SDM, produksi, keuangan, dan pemasaran; (2) Pelaksanaan teaching factory melibatkan berbagai unsur SDM dengan tugas dan perannya masing-masing. Proses produksi dimulai dengan mendatangkan bahan baku, merancang desain, membuat cetakan, membentuk bahan baku, menyatukan bagian-bagian, dan diakhiri dengan finishing serta quality control, pada kegiatan pelaksanan peserta didik dilibatkan penuh mulai dari proses produksi hingga pemasaran; (3) Pengawasan dilakukan rutin oleh Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah, Ketua Kompetensi Keahlian, dan Guru untuk memastikan kegiatan produksi, pengelolaan keuangan, dan pemasaran berjalan dengan baik, serta adanya evaluasi untuk perbaikan pelaksanaan teaching factory di masa mendatang; (4) Implementasi teaching factory pada kompetensi kriya kreatif logam dan perhiasan di SMK Negeri 58 Jakarta telah memberikan dampak positif dengan meningkatkan wawasan dan keterampilan guru serta mengembangkan hard skill dan soft skill peserta didik, sekaligus mempersiapkan karir di masa depan dan berkontribusi pada pengembangan wirausaha di kalangan peserta didik. ***** This research aims to describe the Teaching Factory Management Competency in Metal and Jewelry Creative Craft Skills at SMK Negeri 58 Jakarta. The sub-focus of this research is planning, implementation, supervision and impact of implementation. The methodology used is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The informants for this research were the Deputy Principal for Public Relations, Head of Skills Competency, Teachers and Students. Data collection through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research show that: (1) Planning was formulated around June/July during a work meeting before the new school year and was carried out by the Principal, Deputy Principal, Head of Skills Competency, and Teachers. Planning includes HR, production, finance and marketing; (2) The implementation of the teaching factory involves various HR elements with their respective duties and roles. The production process starts with bringing in raw materials, designing designs, making molds, forming raw materials, putting parts together, and ends with finishing and quality control, in implementation activities students are fully involved from the production process to marketing; (3) Supervision is carried out regularly by the Principal, Deputy Principal, Head of Skills Competencies, and Teachers to ensure that production, financial management and marketing activities run well, as well as evaluations to improve the implementation of the teaching factory in the future; (4) The implementation of a teaching factory on creative metal and jewelry craft competencies at SMK Negeri 58 Jakarta has had a positive impact by increasing teachers' insight and skills as well as developing students' hard skills and soft skills, as well as preparing for future careers and contributing to entrepreneurial development in among students.
