Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kematangan emosi terhadap agresivitias verbal pada pemain Mobile Legends: Bang Bang di Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian korelasional. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 153 responden dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Emotional Maturity Scale (EMS) oleh Singh & Bhargava (1990) untuk mengukur kematangan emosi dan Verbal Aggressiveness Scale (VAS) oleh Infante & Wigley (1986) untuk mengukur agresivitas verbal. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara kematangan emosi terhadap agresivitas verbal pada pemain Mobile Legends: Bang Bang di Jakarta. ***** This study aims to examine the influence of emotional maturity on verbal aggressiveness among Mobile Legends: Bang Bang players in Jakarta. The method employed is a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. The study sample consists of 153 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques. The measurement tools utilized in this research include the Emotional Maturity Scale (EMS) developed by Singh & Bhargava (1990) for assessing emotional maturity, and the Verbal Aggressiveness Scale (VAS) developed by Infante & Wigley (1986) for measuring verbal aggressiveness. The findings indicate that there is an influence of emotional maturity on verbal aggressiveness among Mobile Legends: Bang Bang players in Jakarta.
