Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh potensi diri dan status sosial ekonomi orang tua terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi pada SMAN 41 Jakarta. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sejumlah 132 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling sehingga didapatkan sampel 99 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi pada SMAN 41 Jakarta. (2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan status sosial ekonomi orang tua terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi pada SMAN 41 Jakarta. (3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan potensi diri dan status sosial ekonomi orang tua terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi pada SMAN 41 Jakarta. ***** The aim of this study was to determine the effect of self-potential, and parents' socioeconomic status on the interest in continuing education to college in class XII students at SMAN 41 Jakarta. The population in this study were 132 students. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling to obtain a sample of 99 students. This research uses the Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis technique with Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that: (1) Self-potential has a positive and significant effect on the interest in continuing education to college in class XII students at SMAN 41 Jakarta. (2) The socioeconomic status of parents has a positive effect on the interest in continuing education to college in class XII students at SMAN 41 Jakarta, (3) Self-potential and socioeconomic status of parents have a positive effect on the interest in continuing education to college in class XII students at SMAN 41 Jakarta.
