Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengevaluasi implementasi manajemen program pendidikan di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) 31 Jakarta Timur, yang berbasis asrama. Madrasah ini merupakan lembaga pendidikan berbasis Islam yang menawarkan pendidikan formal dan keagamaan di lingkungan asrama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan staf pengajar dan pengelola, serta analisis dokumen terkait kebijakan dan program pendidikan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen program pendidikan di MTsN 31 Jakarta Timur telah menerapkan strategi yang efektif dalam mengintegrasikan kurikulum sekuler dan agama, serta memfasilitasi pengembangan komprehensif siswa melalui berbagai kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan pengasuhan asrama. Meskipun demikian, beberapa tantangan signifikan yang dihadapi mencakup peningkatan kebutuhan akan infrastruktur yang memadai, sumber daya manusia yang terlatih, dan ketersediaan dana untuk mendukung program-program ini. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya pengembangan model manajemen program pendidikan yang berkelanjutan dan adaptif. Model ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di MTsN 31 Jakarta Timur dengan lebih baik, melalui peningkatan efisiensi operasional dan optimalisasi sumber daya yang tersedia. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan sumbangan berharga bagi literatur manajemen pendidikan madrasah berbasis asrama, dengan menawarkan pandangan yang mendalam tentang praktik-praktik terbaik dalam mengelola pendidikan di konteks tersebut. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini tidak hanya bermanfaat bagi MTsN 31 Jakarta Timur dalam menghadapi tantangan yang ada, tetapi juga dapat menjadi referensi penting bagi lembaga pendidikan serupa dalam upaya mereka meningkatkan efektivitas dan relevansi program pendidikan mereka dalam menghadapi dinamika zaman yang terus berubah. Kata Kunci: Manajemen; Program Pendidikan; Islamic Boarding School. ****** The study aims to analyze and evaluate the implementation of the management of educational programmes in Madrasah Tsanawiyah State (MTsN) 31 East Jakarta, which is based hostel. The Madrasah is an Islamic-based educational institution that offers formal and religious education in hostel neighborhoods. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection is carried out through participatory observations, in-depth interviews with teaching staff and managers, as well as analysis of documents related to educational policies and programmes. The research findings show that the management of education programmes at MTsN 31 East Jakarta has implemented effective strategies in integrating secular and religious curricula, as well as facilitating comprehensive student development through extracurricular activities and foster care. Nonetheless, some of the significant challenges faced include the increased need for adequate infrastructure, trained human resources, and the availability of funds to support these programmes. Implications of this research are the importance of developing a sustainable and adaptive educational program management model. This model is expected to improve the quality of education in MTsN 31 East Jakarta better, through improved operational efficiency and optimization of available resources. In addition, the results of this research are expected to provide valuable contributions to the hostel-based madrasah education management literature, by offering an in-depth insight into best practices in managing education in that context. Thus, this research is not only beneficial to MTsN 31 East Jakarta in facing the existing challenges, but also can be an important reference for similar educational institutions in their efforts to improve the effectiveness and relevance of their educational programmes in the face of the dynamics of an ever-changing era.
