Abstract

Jawa merupakan suku etnis di Indonesia yang memiliki persebaran populasi di seluruh wilayah indonesia dengan bertransmigrasi ke daerah luar pulau jawa, salah satunya adalah di desa Air Batu Jaya Banyuasin. Perumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang berperan dalam pemilihan prosesi pernikahan adat Jawa oleh masyarakat desa Air Batu Jaya yang menggunakan jasa Linda Gian Wedding Organizer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi masyarakat Desa Air Batu Jaya Banyuasin dalam memilih adat Jawa pada pesta perkawinan. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 33 orang dengan pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner. Dengan metode penelitian Kuantitatif Deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemilihan adat Jawa dalam pesta perkawinan di Desa Air Batu Jaya sangat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor yang dinilai tinggi oleh responden. Data yang dikumpulkan menunjukkan rata-rata skor 75, dengan nilai terendah 45 dan nilai tertinggi 99, mengindikasikan pandangan positif terhadap penggunaan adat Jawa dalam pernikahan. Uji validitas menunjukkan bahwa semua item soal dalam kuesioner valid, dengan nilai rhitung lebih besar dari rtabel (0,344). Uji reliabilitas menggunakan teknik Cronbach's Alpha menghasilkan koefisien sebesar 0,970, menunjukkan bahwa instrumen penelitian sangat reliabel. Berdasarkan hasil-hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa masyarakat Desa Air Batu Jaya Banyuasin cenderung memilih adat Jawa dalam pesta perkawinan mereka karena faktor budaya. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the people of Air Batu Jaya Village, Banyuasin in choosing Javanese customs at wedding parties. The sample of this study was 33 people with data collection using a questionnaire. With a quantitative descriptive research method. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the selection of Javanese customs in wedding parties in Air Batu Jaya Village is greatly influenced by various factors that are highly valued by respondents. The data collected showed an average score of 75, with the lowest value of 45 and the highest value of 99, indicating a positive view of the use of Javanese customs in marriage. The validity test showed that all question items in the questionnaire were valid, with a calculated r value greater than r table (0.344). The reliability test using the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient technique produced 0.970, indicating that the research instrument is very reliable. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the people of Air Batu Jaya Village, Banyuasin tend to choose Javanese customs in their wedding parties because of cultural factors.
