Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen dan mendapatkan properti psikometri dari instrumen preferensi pemilihan pasangan. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini merupakan kuantitatif. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 895 responden dengan kriteria dewasa awal berusia 18-40 tahun, dan belum pernah menikah. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah 35 item yang menyusun instrumen Preferensi Pemilihan Pasangan dan properti psikometrinya. Properti diuji menggunakan model Rasch dan multidimensional scaling (MDS) dengan hasil uji dimensionalitas berdasarkan PCA senilai 18,3% dan eigenvalues sebesar 2,9, serta nilai Infit & Outfit MNSQ dalam rentang 0,87 – 1,14, uji invariansi dengan nilai Infit & Outfit MNSQ dalam rentang 0,87 – 1,14, uji independensi lokal dengan nilai korelasi residual dalam rentang – 0,25- 0,22. Selanjutnya, uji reliabilitas menghasilkan item reliability sebesar 0,99 dan item separation 13,77. Hasil menunjukkan secara umum properti sudah cukup baik tetapi terdapat indikasi instrumen tidak unidimensional dan beberapa pasangan item memiliki dependensi lokal. Kemudian dari analisis MDS ditemukan 11 faktor yang membentuk instrumen preferensi pasangan. ***** The aim of this study is to construct and obtain psychometric properties of mate selection preference instrument. The method used in this study is quantitative. The sample in this study consists of 895 respondents with following criterias: early adult from 18-45 years old, has yet to marry, and Indonesian citizen. The results of this research are 35 items that form the mate preference instrument as well as the psychometric properties of it. The properties are obtained using Rasch model and multidimensional scaling (MDS) with the results of the dimensionality test based on PCA 18,3% and eigenvalues 2,9, also the value of Infit & Outfit MNSQ within the range of 0,87 – 1,14, invariance test with the value of Infit & Outfit MNSQ MNSQ within the range of 0,87 – 1,14, local independence test with residual correlation within the range of – 0,25- 0,22. Next, reliability test generates result of 0,99 for item reliability and 13,77 for item separation 13,77. Results indicate that in general the properties are quite good but there are indications that the instrument was not unidimensional and some pairs of items have local dependencies. Finally, from the MDS analysis, 11 factors are found that formed the partner preference instrument.
