Abstract
Integritas akademik dipandang sebagai komitmen yang terdiri dari lima nilai dasar yang terdiri dari kejujuran, kepercayaan, keadilan, rasa hormat, dan tanggung jawab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan memahami pengalaman serta alasan mahasiswa dalam mempertahankan integritas akademiknya selama berkuliah melalui pengalaman subjektif partisipan. Integritas akademik ditinjau melalui sudut pandang positif kualitatif fenomenologis dan metode IPA. Wawancara dilakukan kepada 2 orang responden utama dan 5 orang significant others sebagai data penunjang yaitu dosen dan teman. Peneliti melakukan pengukuran tingkat integritas terlebih dahulu menggunakan alat ukur Integritas Akademik Scale yang dikembangkan oleh Ramdani (2018) dalam rangka menyaring partisipan sebelum diwawancarai untuk pengambilan data final. Pengalaman dan alasan mahasiswa terangkum dalam dua temuan tema superodinat pada alasan mahasiswa dan tiga tema superordinat pada cara yang dilakukan mahasiswa untuk mempertahankan integritas akademiknya. Tema ini diidentifikasi dari beberapa tema emergen yang bersumber dari dalam maupun luar diri mahasiswa dalam konteks proses belajar mengajar, ujian, penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat*****Academic integrity is seen as a commitment consisting of five basic values consisting of honesty, trust, fairness, respect, and responsibility. This study aims to explore and understand students' experiences and reasons for maintaining their academic integrity during college through participants' subjective experiences. Academic integrity is reviewed through a phenomenological qualitative positive perspective and the IPA method. Interviews were conducted with 2 main respondents and 5 significant others as supporting data, namely lecturers and friends. Researchers first measured the level of integrity using the Academic Integrity Scale measuring instrument developed by Ramdani (2018) in order to screen participants before being interviewed for final data collection. Students' experiences and reasons are summarized in two superordinate theme findings on students' reasons and three superordinate themes on the ways students do to maintain their academic integrity. These themes were identified from several emergent themes that originated from within and outside the students in the context of the teaching and learning process, examinations, research and community service
