Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan job insecurity dan work engagement pada karyawan Generasi Z di Indonesia. Variabel dependent dalam penelitian ini adalah job insecurity dan variabel independent dalam penelitian ini adalah work engagement. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dengan melibatkan karyawan generasi Z dengan kriteria berusia 21 – 29 tahun. Metode analisis yang digunakan menggunakan korelasi product moment, hasilnya terdapat hubungan signifikan antara job insecurity dan work engagement pada generasi Z dengan arah hubungan negatif. Hal ini berarti jika semakin tinggi job insecurity yang dirasakan karyawan maka akan semakin rendah work engagement karyawan, begitu pula sebaliknya apabila job insecurity yang dirasakan rendah maka work engagement karyawan akan tinggi. ***** This research aims to determine the relationship between job insecurity and work engagement among generation Z employees in Indonesia. The dependent variable in this research is job insecurity and the independent variable in this research is work engagement. The sampling technique in this research used purposive sampling involving generation Z employees with the criteria being 21 - 29 years old. The analysis method uses product moment correlation, the results in this research is a significant relationship between job insecurity and work engagement in generation Z with a negative relationship direction. This means if the higher job insecurity felt by employees, the lower of work engagement, also if the perceived job insecurity is low, the work engagement will be high.
