Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh persepsi iklim inklusi di sekolah terhadap sikap siswa pada anak berkebutuhan khusus di sekolah menengah Jakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode analisis regresi linear sederhana. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner berisi instrumen Chedoke-McMaster Attitudes Towards Children with Handicaps (CATCH) untuk mengukur sikap siswa pada anak berkebutuhan khusus dan Inclusive Climate Scale (ICS) untuk mengukur persepsi iklim inklusi di sekolah. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 286 siswa yang berasal dari 5 SMP dan 5 SMA inklusi di Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Adapun teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik convenience sampling. Hasil analisis regresi dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 25 menunjukkan nilai p < 0.05 yang berarti hipotesis diterima bahwa terdapat pengaruh persepsi iklim inklusi di sekolah terhadap sikap siswa pada anak berkebutuhan khusus. Adapun besar pengaruh adalah 12,3%. Hal ini berarti, semakin positif persepsi siswa terhadap iklim inklusi di sekolahnya, semakin positif pula sikapnya terhadap anak berkebutuhan khusus. Kata kunci: sikap terhadap anak berkebutuhan khusus, iklim inklusi, sekolah inklusi ***** This study aims to examine the influence of perception of inclusive climate in schools on students’ attitudes towards children with special needs in Jakarta middle schools. This is quantitative research with a simple linear regression analysis method. Data in this study was collected using a questionnaire containing the Chedoke-McMaster Attitudes Towards Children with Handicaps (CATCH) to measure students' attitudes towards children with special needs and the Inclusive Climate Scale (ICS) to measure perceptions of inclusive climate in schools. The sample in this study consisted of 286 students from 5 inclusive junior high schools and 5 inclusive high schools in DKI Jakarta. The sampling technique used is convenience sampling. The results of regression analysis using SPSS version 25 show p value < 0.05, which means the hypothesis is accepted that there is an influence of perceptions of inclusive climate in schools on students’ attitudes towards children with special needs. The magnitude of the influence is 12.3%. This means that the more positive students’ perception of inclusive climate in their schools, the more positive their attitude towards children with special needs will be.
