Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah grit memiliki pengaruh terhadap mental well-being pada emerging adulthood. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah convenience sampling. Jumlah total sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 424 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Grit diukur dengan menggunakan 12-items Grit Scale yang dikembangkan oleh Angela Duckworth et al. (2007) dan mental well-being diukur dengan menggunakan The Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-being Scale (WEMWBS) yang dikembangkan oleh Stewart-Brown et al. (2007). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa grit berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap mental well-being pada emerging adulthood (p = 0,000 < 0,05). Variabel grit memiliki pengaruh sebesar 22,7% terhadap mental well-being. ***** This study aims to determine whether grit has an influence on mental well-being in emerging adulthood. The research method used is quantitative research method. The sampling technique used in this study was convenience sampling. The total number of samples in this study were 424 respondents. The data analysis technique used in this study uses simple regression analysis. Grit was measured using the 12-items Grit Scale developed by Angela Duckworth et al. (2007) and mental well-being was measured using The Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-being Scale (WEMWBS) developed by Stewart-Brown et al. (2007). The results showed that grit has a significant influence on mental well-being in emerging adulthood (p = 0,000 < 0,05). The grit variable has an influence of 22,7% on mental well-being.
