Abstract

The research method used follows an R&D approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research was conducted with a focus on identifying the need for training model development through observation and interviews with wrestlers, as well as to measure the effectiveness of the model through pre-test and post-test evaluations. Evaluation using the pre-test and post-test showed a significant improvement in the athlete's skills, with the average pre-test score of 23.43 increasing to 44.73 on the post-test. The results of the statistical analysis showed a very significant mean difference (t=-39.397, p=0.000), confirming the success of the model in improving the performance of athletes. This research has made an important contribution in the context of developing sports training methodologies that can be adopted to improve the skills of young athletes in wrestling. In conclusion, this closed skill-based foot attack training model is effective and relevant for applications in beginner wrestler training.
