Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik yang berbasis picture word inductive model (PWIM) pada materi menulis dan mengetahui efektivitas LKPD untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode one group design. Prosedur penelitian meliputi tahap analisis kebutuhan, desain produk, validasi dan evaluasi, dan uji coba. Validasi produk melibatkan ahli materi, bahasa, dan media. Validasi kelayakan produk melibatkan guru kelas IV dan peserta didik melalui uji coba perorangan, kelompok kecil, dan field test. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakanan adalah wawancara, observasi, kuesioner, dan tes. Subyek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas IV SDN Utan Kayu Selatan 01 Jakarta Timur. Hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan aspek materi 85,5% dengan kategori sangat baik; aspek media 95,7% dengan kategori sangat baik; aspek bahasa 95.6% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil validasi kelayakan oleh guru kelas IV menunjukkan aspek materi 93% dengan kategori sangat layak; aspek penyajian 93% dengan kategori sangat layak; aspek sistematika 95% dengan kategori sangat layak; aspek pwim 100%. Hasil uji keterbacaan oleh peserta didik diperoleh rata-rata skor sebesar 87,7% dengan kategori sangat layak. Data diolah menggunakan n-gain. Berdasarkan hasil uji efektivitas, maka diketahui bahwa nilai N-gain mencapai 71.1248%, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan hasil adalah dalam kategori efektif. Menulis teks deskripsi mengalami peningkatan untuk setiap indikator. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Lembar Kerja Peserta Dididk berbasis picture word inductive model (PWIM) efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi di sekolah dasar. ***** The purpose of this research is to produce Learner Worksheets based on the picture word inductive model (PWIM) on writing material and determine the effectiveness of LKPD in improving description text writing skills in elementary schools. This research uses a group design method. The research procedure includes the stages of needs analysis, product design, validation and evaluation, and testing. Product validation involved material, language, and media experts. Product feasibility validation involved fourth-grade teachers and students through individual, small group, and field tests. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observations, questionnaires, and tests. The research subjects were fourth-grade students of SDN Utan Kayu Selatan 01 East Jakarta. The results of expert validation show material aspects are 85.5% with very good categories; media aspects are 95.7% with very good categories, and language aspects are 95.6% with very good categories. The results of feasibility validation by class IV teachers show material aspects 93% with very feasible categories; presentation aspects 93% with very feasible categories; systematic aspects 95% with very feasible categories, and pwim aspects 100%. The results of the readability test by students obtained an average score of 87.7% with a very feasible category. The data were processed using n-gain. Based on the results of the effectiveness test, it is known that the N-gain value reached 71.1248%, it can be concluded that the increase in results is in the effective category. Writing descriptive text has improved for each indicator. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the Participant Worksheet based on the picture word inductive model (PWIM) is effective in improving description text writing skills in elementary schools.
